South Korea has a long and sometimes tragic history with Vietnam. They sent 320,000 troops to fight along side American forces during the Vietnam War. Now the largest number of tourists in Vietnam are from South Korea, so there many businesses run by Koreans and the language is well known in tourist cities like Nha Trang and Da Nang.
