Recently, I've noticed that a bunch of companies have started removing or changing some of their more outlandish marketing claims. I'm thinking this might be a response to my inqueries.
This specific banner from PileStone was pulled down several days after I informed them of my investigation. I specifically called them on this ridiculous banner, and how absurd it was for them to claim their product could provide color vision to those with monochromacy, one of the worse type of CVD.
There's been a few other claims from companies that have suddenly changed too. Obviously I can't be 100% certain it's all in response to my investigation, but the timing would suggest it could be. Either way, I'm happy that something's changing :)
