Yep, Akane plays powerfully and is pure joy to watch, but what I really appreciate her for is the creativity and support she brings to every song or special sections, while others may be more in the spotlight. Pretty much every solo by Kanami and/or Misa would not even feel close the same for me without what Akane contributes to them. That's why she's a little magician to me.

2025-07-04 19:27:37 +0000 UTCIf you look over Misa's left shoulder over the EVH on her pull angle closeups, it looks like Akane's playing too.Lotsa online advice about tremolo picking -- some probably fairly dubious but you'd learn a lot. I've never seen another bass player do tremolo picking and the idea kinda freaks me out. Electric strings are (with exceptions like SRV) usually so thin that they are easier to bend pitch (though I think Misa's done so on bass -- geez).
