NEMOPHILA - ZEN

I was so sure that the NEMOPHILA I heard play "Life," was a completely different band. So sure that I had to look up the song again to make sure I wasn't thinking about another band!
The vocals are sick. The unisons are killer...overall, a great sound and an amazing time!

That's exactly my kind of ‘Zen’. 🤭 Yes, the many sides of Nemophila are actually totally crazy, but so much fun. 🔥🤘🏻 For many reasons I'm already looking forward to the video with your brother for ‘Given Up’ by LP. Because yes, for me too, LP was one of the most important bands in my musical life, and Chester will always remain unmatched for me, but on the one hand, Mayu always reminds me a little of Chester with her vocal abilities, and on the other hand, Nemo's covers are almost as strong as their own songs and also such an important historical part of the band, in my opinion. They only got together in the second half of 2019, so it didn't take long for the pandemic to throw a massive roadblock in the way of their joint journey. And with the covers they released (almost without exception, I think) every Friday, they've already built up a solid fan base around the globe during this time. And there are some real gems among them, always with great respect for the original, but still Nemophila style. :) The two covers of Maximum the Hormone, X-Japan's ‘Kurenai’, Babymetal's ‘Megitsune’ or even Journey's 'Seperate Ways', just to throw a few of them into the ring. But also just fun songs from completely outside their genre, such as NiziU's ‘Make You Happy’ or the ‘Banana Song’. Yes, the one from the Minions. :) (It's only just under 2 minutes long, but highly recommended) As ‘Life’ and 'Zen’ already impressively demonstrate, the range of what they can do is almost limitless.
