Mayall played piano on a couple of tracks on this Canned Heat album! I first heard about Henry Thomas while listening to a Taj Mahal anthology. Taj covered Henry's "Fishin' Blues".

2025-06-11 16:10:24 +0000 UTCback in the late 60s when I was devouring everything blues after first hearing John Mayall's Blues Breakers I found Bull Doze Blues first and then later heard the Canned Heat version. Both in my Blues playlist.
