CARI Archive Uploads in July!

Hi All,

Apologies for the delay, was a on a family trip for a couple weeks. I've uploaded 19 items to the archive in July, including New Media Showcase 2, part of a series of books showcasing digital graphic design in the 1990s; some really fun and wild work in there. In total, there's now about ~580 books & magazine issues currently in the archive! Highlights:

Logo Lounge 2 (2006) and Logo Lounge 4 (2008) - An excellent and wide-ranging collection of logo and typographic design organized by categories. Also includes some case studies on specific brands, like the mid 2000s Target Halloween and Back-to-College campaigns.

Christmas from the Heart Vol. 11 - Better Homes and Gardens (2002) - It's a very maximalist Christmas in this book, with each section dedicated to different heavily-themed Christmas decor & foods.

Designagent KM7: License to Design (1997) - A collection of works by Designer Klaus Mai, some really great examples of Y2K Futurism and rave-influenced design here. Includes their excellent work for the 90s dance group, Tokyo Ghetto P*ssy.

Annual of Space Designs in Japan 2001 - Displays, Signs, and Commercial Spaces Vol. 28 (2001) - This is from a really incredible series of Japanese books that collect all types of commercial design from a particular year, including store windows, architecture, interior design, and landscape design.

Rian Hughes Device - "Art, Commercial" (Rian Hughes Monograph) (2002) - Monograph book of the prolific graphic designer, Rian Hughes. His style is one we haven't really covered in CARI, it's similar to the famous 'Erin Esurance' look, closest to the 'Ultramodern Revival' style of the 90s-00s.
