Also, in less than two hours (as of this going out), I'm doing a special pre-Silent Movie Day Archiveland Public Domain Theatre livestream--a selection of Buster Keaton shorts with a unique-to-VHS piano score. 2024-09-30 13:14:12 +0000 UTCThat was fascinating! It's always interesting to see what people were coming up with back then. Also, I have a copy of that Unseen Cinema box set. I've never gotten through all the films, but there's some interesting stuff in there. I was most interested in the short films they have from the 19th. and early 20th. centuries. I've always thought you'd like it. I can actually get you a copy if you want, and have it sent to the Archive P.O. box. Just let me know.

2024-09-29 15:00:37 +0000 UTCThe Ballet Mecanique is definitely something I would love to see, one day. The Charles Bowers stuff I would not mind seeing. The Dali film less so. Yes I turned away at the eye scene. This was very eye opening, pun intended.
