January Update and Things

Ahoy,

Happy 2019, Supporters! I'm hoping that everyone had a good time transitioning over to the new year as we all try to whisk ourselves into a sense of "newness". I thought I'd try to do regular updates on various things to keep you guys in the loop, especially for those not on my Discord.

Tumblr Exodus

As some of you are aware, Tumblr decided to banish all adult content from their platform for a number of excuses that ultimately didn't really do much other than allow room for other (more extreme) groups. However, I'm certain that's a can of worms that doesn't need to be discussed at this point.

Unfortunately, this means all of my blogs were more or less demolished beyond recognition and since my blogs have been on Tumblr for a very long time I did not have the patience to wait for a backup which is fine because I have everything I've posted for the most part.

This does make it hard to centralize my interest groups around Adventure of Cat Princess, but I hope that with time I'll get my own website running since Patreon has similar gripes about content on their platform as well.

Adventure of Cat Princess

So, some of you might be wondering what the progress is like on ACP. I do have a new build in the works that mostly focuses on swapping out some assets for original content and attempts to round out some concepts in what I'm calling the "staging level".

With the new year, I'm putting together a schedule that will balance my sanity with work and development time. While this won't mean progress will move faster per say it will at least yield some regular updates!

I will get some links up here since I know not everyone likes to cruise InkBunny. Stay tuned for that! Otherwise, take advantage of your Supporter role on Discord to harass me about it (note: please don't actually harass me I do that enough to myself).

Commissions & Streams

A lot of work has been going on in the background to try to clear up my backlog so that I can start focusing on making my work regular and consistent. That way, I'm not bursting at the end of the month to make ends meet. Still debating how I want to handle off-stream commissions, but they're coming as well as more streams!

Mewdles Cards Concept

I've been mulling about this for years now and since I want to keep my focus on my game these won't really see too much development. They're going to be essentially glorified "artist cards" in the pseudo-theme of common trading cards. However, they do not have established rules or gameplay for the time being and will just kind of be fun things to oogle.

What's going to be particularly special about these is that I plan on making limited handcrafted physical cards with cardstock and everything. No suppliers or manufacturers just a printer, paper, some toxic sprays, and me.

After I do some test runs, I may make a few slots available for people to buy their own custom cards in this theme and those will get a specialized "founder" marking of some kind to assure their uniqueness if they happen to be reprinted.

Depending on how people react to these it could turn into something more, but for now they'll just be fun little cards to look at and store in your wallet to show off to people something they probably can never get.

Other Things

I want to thank everyone for supporting me here on Patreon. It's not a whole lot compared to other artists, especially ones that can offer rewards, but even these small payouts from Patreon help me every month. The reality of it is that most of the time you guys are paying for my groceries so I can stay clean and fed.

I can't thank you guys enough for the support you've given me and I really do hope to one day give back something special. Perhaps, I'll do like hand-drawn greeting cards I can ship out to everyone this month. If that sounds interesting to you please leave a comment or poke me on Discord about it!
