Conceptual Project Ideas

Ahoy Privateers,

It's been very quiet around these parts, but it's about time I let you guys in on a few secrets going on in the background in regards to my career as a [unholy] artist.

First of all, I want to thank you folk for donating a little more to become Early-Access pledgers whom I will call the Privateers. Don't ask why I chose a sailory type of theme there.

Cardification (Artist Cards) Digital

This is probably my most mature project to date with an actual ideas, roadmap, and even ways to get physical product if it goes somewhere.

The project is quite simply: Cardification. Digital illustrations more leaning toward the artistic "ooh wow!" appeal of transforming characters, items, objects, or even established commissions into digital cards!

The example provided was mostly a "test" of how a card would look on the basic level cleverly hidden within another person's commissions (don't worry I asked). It would quite simply just be a fun thing to look at and possible do some prints for physical product if there is interest.

The biggest thing about this particular project is that it could evolve into more than just quirky digital cards, but could find itself becoming a functional game of which some ideas have already been laid out. More on that another time!

RPG Project "Cat Princess Adventures"

If you've been following me for quite some time you might remember this gem back when I was working retail. I've always had an interest in making games ever since I was making comics back when I was younger.

While RPGMaker is literally the WordPress of game designers, I find that the content and themeing would be the biggest asset here as most RPGMaker h-games lack a male protagonist.

What's that? There are h-games with male protagonists? While that may be true they are often times either reverse-smut or monster girls of which are fine, but doesn't quite meet the niche of just a male protagonist fighting off ambiguous monsters.

The problem here is that I don't have very much experience on the more advanced aspects of RPGMaker (scripting) that would be required to properly create the appropriate systems and mechanics needed to make the game at least enjoyable.

I could just continue to make the game mostly to just have silly smutty artwork thrown in like every other RPGMaker h-game on DLSite, but I really want to try to make something more of it.

Perhaps I can find a small team for this route, but for the time being it's stalled.

A Comic Series

This one is more or less a given when it comes to Patreon and artists. I used to make comics all the time when I was younger and while they're not extrodinary it was my childhood aspiration to become a comic book artist.

At the moment, I don't really  have many ideas for this project other than a few settings and worlds to explore that are pretty heavy on the kinks and lean more towards a darker atmosphere with an evolving story.

Perhaps, I will expand on this side more in due time!
