Hope your day is going well. Omg it's almost the end of October ... what is time?!?!
Ima keep this short and sweet. I've been procrastinating on doing any type of work at all in order to get this vid out. I'm just very OCD and I needed to finish this before starting something else. And I really got to do some work haha!

Oh also Jin's MV was filmed in Los Angeles. I didn't recognize it at first because they just redid that bridge like a year ago. I remember the opening and thought - oh cool. But apparently that was filmed at the 6th street viaduct. It's the same place they filmed all the Grease racing scenes. I wish I had known that ... the bridge looks so different! But it still seemed very LA. So weird!

The whole mini album is good, and just feels good. This video they were giving me 90s/00s Boy Bands and I loved it, also just love the messaging of the song and how this concept reflects within the whole mini album. If you have a chance to watch their content like Inside SVT for their dance practices they are soooo fun to watch! Xdinary H.-Thanks for putting me on to them. I had heard of them but thought not really my musical taste so never took a listen until now, but this was such a beautiful song, beautifully/haunting lyrics and visuals. I will definitely need to take a further look into them. If Day6 can grab hold of me I think these guys just might have a chance too. The Boyz- Whoa!!! These guys have some sangers! And the production & vocal production on this song was just chef kiss. I have listened to Roar and really liked it, and also did enjoy their last comeback as well but have yet to deepdive into the music, but these guys are very talented and I am intrigued to check out more. I do know they just parted ways with their management IST Entertainment. From what I have seen they are a really talented group. Rose/APT- Song is so catchy, and so fun especially knowing the context and play on words. They really do sound great together. All the solo releases so far, the girls really look happy with what they are putting out. Itzy-somewhat familiar with their music and what I know of it, it has not clicked for me, it seems like recent years they are trying to find "their" sound. As soon as I heard the song & the tag "incoming" I knew it was a Dem Jointz production who produces a lot of KPOP, especially NCT127 and you either love it or hate it (Skyscraper , I love...Sticker hated it at first but like it now). Kiss of Life- the one with the flower, her name is Julie. Cool song, like where the production goes for the pre-chorus and the bridge, vocal production with them is also always really nice. Aespa- Really have been enjoying their music recently. Drama, Armageddon, now this....visually they look amazing, and are exuding a lot of confidence, more now than ever, probably lending to growing up but also confident in the direction their music is going. Jin- sounded great, looked great, and also seems more confident in his sound. This was such a feel good song.

But just wanted to pop in and say congrats to you both for all the exciting things happening in your careers right now. I am homebody too Jo but how cool to get your social battery going, also HEck Yes Allison would love to come see the show., theatre is my first love, especially musical theatre so this would be right up my alley to watch aside from the fact I am a bit of scaredy pants but I've seen Carrie , the movie and that awful remake so I think I won't be too scared...okay off to watch you two possibly lose it a little over some of these videos( especially SVT, & The Boyz)

I mean, I live in LA and I’ve seen and met some celebrities and I’ve surprised myself on who I’ve been starstruck by … But yeah. If I had the chance to meet them idk what would happen. 🤣🤣 As for leaving things open ended - I saw some tweets after the Eyes on You MV where everyone was confused AF. Storylines were going all over the place. Who knows what they’re trying to say or if there’s any point to the story boards! As long as people enjoy the music and as mature enough to separate the what’s real and what’s not - that’s what’s important. Unless they say anything outright we shouldn’t put anything on them. But yeah, the delulu fans need to chill. Everything that happened with Joshua when he supposedly was dating that influencer - fans wants nuts. Anyways I gotta go vote. I’m in line. Bye!

And honestly, me being filipino and growing up Asian American AF, it’s so wonderful to see and feel repped by both Bruno and Rosie in the best way possible As for the drinking game - I wish I knew how to play it while I was at a Halloween last week. Would’ve been a perfect opportunity to introduce more people to it. Plus it’s just fun to drink with friends with games in costumes hahaha.

All the carats were freaking out bc they didn't like dj khaled being featured but I'm glad woozi and bumzu were still the main producers on this title track. It still felt very svt to me. I love this song it's just so easy listening. This is such a big change from maestro earlier this year lol. Yeah SVT have been everywhere this tour!!! They even went to a dog Halloween parade 🥹😂 ugh can't wait to see them in Oakland! Also APT is such a smash hit! Rose and Bruno were the duo I didn't know I needed.. I felt like the video gave off Avril Lavigne girlfriend vibes and I was here for it!

(APT) And I'm sure by now you're aware that it is based on the Korean Drinking Game. I heard a Korean reactor comment that it's basically like if an American artist made a song about Duck Duck Goose, but somehow it worked. I love that it blends the 2 cultures in such a fun way. Koreans are proud that western world are learning about their culture and something that is very unique to them while also working with Bruno brings western audiences into Blackpink and Rosie's songs. Super fun song. I'm not even mad about it breaking Butter's record for fastest to 100m views.

Happy little dreams or fan fic scenarios in your personal time for your personal fun is not what I was talking about <3 <3 I was talking about the delusional people who like break into hotel rooms or call their personal number during lives or send them death threats if they're dating. Just wanted to clarify, cause I think we all have those cute what if moments. I always thought I would be so cool if I met a celeb (and I have been cool while meeting them sometime) But in my 20s I met Dave Matthews in the wild before a concert (I was big into the DMB scene for like 8 years and like 35 shows) and I LITERALLY forgot human speech. Forgot how to move. I was like a glitched NPC buffering while staring at him. My friend had to shuffle me away. He was very kind and sweet and didn't do anything to make me feel even more awkward, but man... SO I think if I ever met a member of a group I stan...I would probably forget how words work, but I would like to THINK I would be fun and witty and memorable.

When Wonwoo in the rain happened their response was IN KOREAN -- "You're going to drench the boys?" IN ENGLISH -- "Thank you so much" I laughed so hard. It's fun to see everyone be stunned by the same moment. That and the Mingyu/Wonwoo couch moment. Open interpretations of relationships in media are so valuable for making individuals feel seen (as long as fans are able to tell the difference between personal life and on camera life). As Seungkwan said in his letter, people don't have the right to insert themselves into their stories, they already give so much to us. I hope we all can love and encourage them during the difficult times and cheer for them when they are happy in their personal lives.

2024-10-31 04:35:38 +0000 UTCxdinary heroes is amazing!!!! i think you'd definitely like them if you're into more rock heavy music, the song you reacted to is actually their first ballad title track. they have a lot of amazing songs itzys gold is definitely one that has to grow on you, but the GOLD album was also a double title track full album, their second title track is Imaginary Friend and they just recently released an MV for it a couple days ago and it's absolutely amazing. fun fact!! itzy actually had their first ever feature on an album with their song Vay featuring stray kids changbin! he wrote it for them specifically after chaeryeong asked him to write one for them (she and changbin are really close, they grew up together in the same apartment complex) and he also produced it for them! the other bsides on Itzys album are also amazing, they also included "final" (ot5) versions of the born to be album songs

2024-10-31 02:50:57 +0000 UTCI don't know much about Xdinary Heroes but I do know that they are SKZ hoobaes. Gunil the leader/drummer went to Berklee and was a part of a K-Pop band there. Itzy just came out with another MV for Imaginary Friend that you guys should watch it is so beautiful! I think they should have used that for their title track. Also, another one of their new songs was written, produced by, and features Changbin from SKZ and it is completely different. The recording behind the scenes in really cute because they were laughing and having fun with him the whole time. Changbin and Chaeryeong have been friends since before they were trainees and Chaeryeong asked him to write a song for Itzy and so he did. There is some really cute content with the both of them. He was recently on her YouTube show and it was so hilarious and sweet, they really seemed like siblings. I am loving Kiss of Life lately! Their other song Igloo is so fun as well! APT is going absolutely insane! My son came home from 2nd grade this week and said all the kids at recess were singing it lol I don't know much about The Boyz except for what I saw when they were on Kingdom with SKZ and Ateez. They are fantastic performers, and their dancing is always so good. You should definitely watch their MVs for Lipgloss and Watch It.
