Happy Thursday. Hope your day is going well. I basically have been non-productive and I took one of those "accidental naps" - maybe I was really tired haha.
Which is a good thing that I had this ready on deck for you. It's the last of the run of reactions with Allison from this one session. The first of three "Love Yourself: Answer" Album Listening Parties bc that album is way too long. We'll be rotating in between the other two parts and other long form content. But I have to pace it out for us!
Anyways, enjoy the watch. We're going back to BU territory and steadily through solo pieces and a few unit pieces. I did mention that Allison has seen the live version of Dimple before - you can see it HERE. That's why we did the lyric video here. But we'll continue the Love Yourself journey later. We got as far as Fake Love this time around.
I think we're planning on our next filming session sometime next week. So I'll be rotating a few solo reactions until I have new content for you. Hopefully NANA Tour and Berlin Lolla!! We'll see.

Love Yourself is my favorite of all the BTS albums (among a ton of other GREAT albums). I just really love the throughline and honestly, it's jam packed with too many great songs. And so breaking it up like this was necessary. But I'm excited to pick up the other parts soon! Singularity is incredible. One of V's best performances. But you know, I can't wait to get to Seesaw and Epiphany in the next run!

It has been a minute since I have listened to this album all the way through and I am reminded of how AH-Mazing this album is. It really is genius, from the production, to the writing, to the storyline & visuals that accompanied it. Definitely one of my favorite albums. HOnestly BTS just makes great music, not just KPOP, all around good music and RM's genius writing has a lot to do with that. Now I cannot end this before showing some love to my bias Tae (V), I think Singularity pretty much sealed the deal for me, he has been my bias from my start with them in 2020. Also everything Allison said after watching the video...same sis....same! And RM wrote that song, man sooooo good! I believe the choreography won an award at MAMA if I am not mistaken. Also when you have a chance (since you mentioned you love stage mixes) you should definitely watch the stage mix for Singularity....game changer that video is!

2024-09-18 21:04:12 +0000 UTCit's my fav album toooo!! it's soo good!! the writing and thoughtfulness that they did with the album as a whole is just incredible and i just love it. and i want to take proper time to watch it in full and include the BU stuff but then the playlist just got so long! that's why i had to break it up into three parts. can't wait to get to some of the other songs!

But something happened one day, Suga wrecked me. I can't pinpoint when it happened but I think it was when I was watching one of the musters and he performed Daechwita and he changed from Suga to Agust D and my life was changed. I was like OMG. Allison's original bias is RM. You can actually see her say so in this video (around 11 minutes): https://youtu.be/JYvstzbo9WU?si=k1XkSWajHgxBAEpI But she got bias wrecked by J-Hope when we watched the YTC concert in theaters. That is also on video here (around 7 minute mark: https://www.patreon.com/posts/89476021 It's crazy because you can also see Elaine declare her bias as Jungkook at the beginning ad then you gradually see her get bias wrecked by Jimiin part way through her BTS journey. It's crazy how it happens!!
