Happy Wednesday ... how's your week going?? Mine is A-OK. I had some major hang times with peoples over the weekend and it depleted my little introvert meter and so I spent the last couple days just recouping.
I'm feeling a little refreshed now. Maybe I'll actually have time to make some thumbnails!! Sorry I keep slacking on that part - whoops! Somehow it's always an afterthought and I'm always like "crap! I need to do that!" So it might come later.
But for now - we're bringing you WONWOO & JEONGHAN. What a subunit!! What do you call this?! THe BEAUTIFUL DARK ANGELS SUB UNIT?!
The music video. The story telling. The cinematography. The illustrations. Everything about that was just sooooo stunning - on top of that, two beautiful men singing alongside this guitar strumming gem. Ugh. So good. And their solo songs!! So beautiful!
Why does "Leftover" make me want to cry!!

Was it their voices?? I love their voices so much - boyfriend ASMR! Where is the audio book? Can you share the link? Also, lmk when you want to hang out again! Allison is back in LA so we should plan something sometime!

As a multi stan that means literal weeks of content to binge if you miss a few days LOL. <3 I do love them together in the song and honestly they have such lovely tones when they speak, I could sleep with them reading in my ear and be in heaven.

Not only do these two sound so good together, but listening to them story tell was one of the most relaxing experiences, their voices were so soothing....and that is even with having to read the screen for captions.

Maybe one day I’ll actually read it but part of me is just waiting for someone else to do all the analyzing and then I’ll just watch that video haha! The illustrations were so beautiful though. I wish I drew more ☺️☺️

2024-07-04 22:46:22 +0000 UTCI really loved the concept they went with for this sub unit bc it fits perfectly with hannie and wonu. They put their acting skills on DISPLAY for the world to see! Haha dark angel subunit is perfect! I was thinking they were in their vampire era haha. Last night MV was amazing and I loved the guitar! Gave it Spanish flair for sure. I loved both of their solo songs, jeonghans beautiful monster is a good bop to put on and jam out and leftover by wonu is when you wanna get into your feels. I always shed a tear reading the lyrics to it tbh it's just so sad. The fact that wonu can SING fr shows how multifaceted and talented seventeen is as a whole. They can do it all! Thank you guys for checking this out! 🩷

2024-07-04 04:08:37 +0000 UTCMy personal take on the story stems from a line Jeonghan says "I'm missing you again" which makes me thing that he's gone rogue and is trapping people in dreams over and over while he searches for the person he's missing. He lures them into happy dreams, happy memories (the man getting the promotion etc.) and keeps them there while he lives in those moments. Wonwoo seems to be someone going through waking people up from these dreams because he knows it's not healthy to stay trapped in fantasy. The "True Lemonade" for ME (again this is my opinion) represents reality which is often bitter but also sweet and necessary to progress in life. He is chasing Jeonghan through the dreams to get him back on track even tho it's difficult. To Be fair I haven't listened to the audio book or read the translated manga, so I may be off. But personally this makes sense to me. Also, HOW ARE THEY BOTH SO BEAUTIFUL! OMO OMO OMO *melts into puddle*

Leftover came on, I heard/read the first line, and immediately turned it off. LOL I was like nope this is not a song to listen to at work. It is so beautiful.
