RANDOM PLAY (ATEEZ, G(I)-DLE, SEVENTEEN, BABYMONSTER, &TEAM)

Hiya!

Happy Friday!! Hope y'all are having a great day so far. Just wanted to pop in here and drop off this RANDOM PLAY. Usually when we do these vids, we have no idea what we're going to watch. We literally just randomly pick videos from a few different catch-all playlists. Sometimes Patreon Requests, sometimes whatever's trending on the K.ING playlist. Sometimes it's just random k-pop related content for whatever reason.

Allison chose the ATEEZ song - which we didn't realize was going to be a dance performance. Still cool though. We both really liked the G(I)-DLE First Take. They sound amazing with just raw vocals plus the song is super catchy. And we watched a little bit of the newer groups with some BABYMONSTER and &TEAM. And of course some SEVENTEEN. Can't go wrong with our favorites!

That's it for now. Enjoy the video!

Wish us luck as we try shooting over Zoom today! Not sure what we're going to watch but we're going to get y'all some content ASAP!!

Ok bye!!

:)

Omg adding it to the list now. Idk why it took me a month to get to this comment ... sorry. My bad!

Emotional experiences!! Ok ... maybe we'll have to give &Team another go. Honestly it's a little overwhelming how many 5th gen boy groups there are and idk how we'll make time for any of them. But it's good to hear which ones are everyone's favorite.

I want to see fetus Enhypen! The idea of how mature and incredibly kind and thoughtful they are to each other as opposed to some of our classic all-American reality TV shows ... it's just more wholesome as I think about it. My bias line is Jungwon, Sunoo, and Heeseung. But honestly be doing stuff. I see clips of him cooking and I'm like woah. And then he's playing the guitar. And I'm like woah. And then HE WORE SEATTLE MARINERS GEAR and I'm dead. It's over. I'm from Seattle and having three members throw the first pitch had me screaming. But yeah, I might give I-Land a try. See the origins. Maybe it'll be easier to take in knowing who the winners are.

I think you'd enjoy watching the dance practice of Enhypen & &Team performing the song from I-Land that IU performed/wrote for the show "into the i-land". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q_DOe8jhls

I enjoy &Team also. Pretty much all of their releases I have thoroughly enjoyed, love the concept for Under the Skin but Firework is my favorite song of theirs and the video is really good. Both MVs for UTS and Firework were emotional experiences for me as I watched. them, tugged at my heartstrings. I did think for while that K was the leader but found out recently he isn't but he's the oldest, 97 (tall, ft in the beginning of Under the Skin, and who Allison said reminded her of Jimin), he is a very good dancer, has a lot of expression and personality within their choreography. Quite a few of them are pretty tall at 6ft/6.1 but you wouldn't know that with how graceful they are with their movements. I think aside from Firework what grabbed me was their dance practices, they are all pretty amazing dancers and so in sync.

&Audition is the show for &Team, but I-Land is where both teams started.

I just recently watched I-Land and honestly it's a great competition show and if you have interest in knowing more about &Team AND Enhypen it is the show that helped create both teams. I really enjoyed watching it. Of course there was a lot of controversy at the TIME of the show -- because of who ends up on the team and how that happened -- but watching it now with the benefit of hindsight it's easier to adjust. I've realized one thing by watching Kindgom and I-Land : Honestly the production has to manufacture controversy. The contestants just love each other so much that even if they vote for someone to lose a test they'll GO TO THE PERSON they voted for and explain why they did it. Cry about it together. Encourage each other to work harder and come back stronger. So the network has to trump up some nonsense or overhype the audience vote to invent drama. Seriously, tho, seeing fetus Enhypen and fetus &Team members and how they started, how talented they were from the beginning, how amazingly mature they are at dealing with conflicts and adversity. I watched it as a woman in my 40s and was embarrassed by how much more adept these teenagers were at handling failure and challenges. And I SWEAR if you'll come out of it with Jay in your bias line if he wasn't already. That kid is amazing, resilient, courageous and honestly one of the best human beings I've ever seen. AND HIS MOM TOO. He has the best attitude toward challenges that I've ever seen.
