LE SSERAFIM - “EASY” MV + “RAISE Y_OUR GLASS” MV + WIRED INTERVIEW + GDA PERFORMANCE + “STUPID IN LOVE” + “LOVE YOU TWICE” REACTION

Hiya!!

Ok so the last video was announcement. This is your actual Patreon Exclusive Youtube Combo vid turned LE SSERAFIM MV run but mostly Yunjin solos.

Yeah, this video was kind of random but sort of a happy accident and you can tell me what you think about it.

It was meant to be our typical four video YouTube/Patreon combo but I honestly didn't love the GDA performance. I think I was super thrown off by the rock interpretation of their songs. And after we filmed I was like, "can we film something else?" And that's why there are two extra videos.

So now you get a run of six LE SSERAFIM MV's in this one reaction video. I personally LOVE "Easy" and I listen to it all the time and I pretend I know the choreo when I'm alone in my apartment. And Yunjin's solos are so pretty and meaningful and vulnerable - she's and amazing singer/songwriter. And I just like LE SSERAFIM'S vibe.  I like their style. I like the sound. And I really want to watch their docuseries to get to know them more.

Loved the song with Max. Loooooved the illustrations - which btw I found out was not by Yunjin. This one was actually done by one of my favorite creators I follow on Instagram - Puik. (she does some great little cartoons with k-pop soundbites. Some of my personal favs are: SVT / LS / TXT / BTS / AGUST D / NJ ... but there's so much more).

But I wasn't really into the GDA performance. And I debated on posting it or not. But we mentioned it in the intro and I was like ... uh, what do I do? So I decided to just include everything.

And this is something I brought to my Patreon A-Club (I meet with other reactors to see how we can make our channels better) and I asked them about what to do if we react to something and we don't like it. Do we still post it? Or what if our reaction is like bored or blah. Do we post it?

I wasn't sure what to do. In the past, I've always told our guests to be honest but kind. Don't just do lip service. It you don't like something, say so. Just be nice.

I wanted to be true to myself as well. This one particular performance wasn't my favorite. It doesn't mean I don't like them. And it doesn't mean it's bad. It's just wasn't my thing. And that's ok, right?

I know of other reactors who don't post negative or bad reactions. And I didn't want to do that. If anything this will help you all steer me in the right direction to better, more fitting content. Right?

So yeah, that's why the GDA performance is in there and why you get two more bonus MV's.

What do you think? Is it better to just cut out bad/not-so-into-it reactions? Or leave it because that's what a reaction video is. I'm open to your feedback!

Anyways, that's it. Let me know what you guys think!

Yeah, I haven't gotten into much of the competition shows but I am sure watching from the very start does connect you even more to the individuals and the artist. I have heard that Le SSerefim's documentary is a really good watch, I am still on the fence of whether to watch because I watched XG's, well actually I was only able to get through 3 or 4 episodes because I was so emotional, but also felt a bit cringed out with some of the interactions, and things said by those in charge. What I will say is that you do gain quite the respect seeing how hard these young...very young kids work to make their dreams come true. While others who have worked just as hard, never make it..such as life, just solidifies that what is meant for you will be.

Oh wow!! So interesting!! I love the creative process and how we get to know little tidbits like that. I would love to hear the lullaby demo version!

Yeah! I remember reading up on that whenever we did a run on IVE. I looked up the girls and found out that some came from Produce 48 and that's where Yunjin, Sakura, and Chaewon all came from also. It still blows my mind how they all came about. Like, a competition, exposure, talent, training, boom! group. THen group's contracts expire and then it's like, now what? I'm still learning more about their story but I think them coming together the five of them, very interesting and I love that their whole concept is like fighter/fearless. because they had all had to make their way there. I can't wait to watch the docuseries.

I tried finding the short .. idk where it is. But if I find it, I'll post it!

She has a collab coming up with J-Hope!!! Omg I knew she was talented but I didn't know she was THIS talented!! I remember seeing a YouTube short where a HYBE producer said that Yunjin is the first idol she'd seen in a long time that had the IT factor. The everything. I think it was like Jimin, Niki from Enhypen, and Yunjin. And I was like - wow. She's got it?! I want to know more!!

I really like LE SSERAFIM!! I've never heard of the Garage - I'll have to see who else performed there. And it's in LA? There's still new things I'm learning about this city every day! Anyways, I really like Easy. We still haven't had time to listen to the full mini album yet but I'm excited for when we do. I just really like them as a group.

Wow that's amazing!

Also Fun Fact: She has writing/producing credits for a good amount of their songs: Blue Flame, Impurities, Good Parts, No Celestial, Eve Psyche, and Blue Beards Wife, Fearnot(co-produced), Perfect Night, Swan Song, Smart, and Wr got So much….she also produces and writes her solo songs(total of 4 solo songs as of now) and she also has writing credits for her collab songs(2 collabs+1 coming out on March 29) that she features in(Yes or No and Stupid in Love). She has an upcoming new collab w/ J-Hope on track 3(March 29).

Love you twice is so precious cuz in Yunjin’s recent weverse live..she said that the song came out sounding soft because they were in a hotel room diring their promotions in Japan and Eunchae was sleeping beside her while she was making the song and recording her voice for the demo..so she was whispering while singing/singin quietly so that Eunchae won’t wake up..so the song came out sounding soft like a lullaby

For the interview Sakura was in another KPOP group that developed from a competition show (never seen it), I believe it was the same one that Yungin was apart of but she got eliminated and Chaewon & Sakura made it. (IZ*One, I believe is the name, they also had 2 girls from IVE in the group as well) Kura was also popular in Japan as a model, actress and idol there as well.

She has stated that the song is dedicated to the group but I am sure you got that from the lyrics and the video (how sweet this is dedicated to you Jo from Allison). I enjoy Yungin being so vulnerable and speaking to that side of the KPOP industry that sometimes strays away from individuality and will at times look down upon it. I also appreciate her skills as a writer and as a vocalist. She is willing to speak on things that often goes unspoken for fear of a disapproving response from fans/netizens and the companies themselves. It is my understanding that she has writing credits on some of Le SSerafim's songs as well, and even creative input.

Le sserafim is great group. I tend to love their choreo as well, and this once was no exception. You should definitely, when you can check out the Garage Performance video, which I believe the Garage is a famous dance location, that many dancers and choreographers have come through here in LA. Other than that the song is definitely a vibe! My only thing is I know that Yungin is a strong vocalist, and her and Chaewon have beautiful vocals so the over produced vocals I could do without. But again the song, and it's meaning I enjoy.
