So here are we with another round of random play. Just a little bit of k-hip-hop, a little bit of EXO, a little bit of predebut ballad. A good mix, if I do say so myself!! Hope you don’t mind us casually eating blueberry muffins during this watch. It’s part of our regularly scheduled mukbang with y’all.
A few thoughts as I rewatch now before the post …
- Hoshi sounds WONDERFUL on this track - it’s kind of nice hearing his voice alone in this
- also the fact that he was able to do this song with Epik High - iconic!!
- I love Epik High … the concert that I went to last year was incredible; it was much more of a underground hip hop vibe to it vs like the classic kpop concert that I’ve gone to
- BABY MONSTER voices … incredible; I kind of like seeing them Plain Jane like this, all the behind the scenes - really reminds you how young they are
- and well Kai - you guys, KAI FROM EXO. we couldn’t just do one song, we had to do two.
- “a butter blonde Korean man” is now one of my favorite phrases ever
- the production design and wardrobe in “Peaches” is magnificent
- and well, Baekhyun’s “Bambi” is also incredible and soooo smooth
- and of course, we have to top off things with ENHYPEN with some Baby Shark goodness - quite a pivot but it works

2024-03-06 04:18:52 +0000 UTCNot sure how I missed this one with Baekhyun being one of my favorite vocalist in KPOP, I also really enjoy not only his music with EXO but his solo works as well. BabyMonster has some very talented young ladies within the group. To be so young with such strong & beautiful voices, definitely so much potential. I really hope that their vocals are utilized by having songs that showcase how talented these young girls are. The song you reacted to I never heard until now and it's lovely & they sound amazing, definitely different from their debut song. Mr. Charisma himself Kai (miss him), his solo works are some of my favs as well, and the choreo for Peaches is soooo good...he really puts out solid bodies of work. His last two releases I thoroughly enjoyed. You ladies should definitely react to his album concept videos, they are so good.

But I've never seen any of his MV's. It's like -what have I been missing out on!! Thanks for your patience on getting through the requests! The random plays have been helpful to get to everyone's suggestions. And honestly, faster to knock out a bunch of content at once. I like it :)
