Hope y’all are having a great day so far. So here’s the our next Album Listening Party: Seventeenth Heaven - nothing like slipping into the diamond life!
Dude, we just love SEVENTEEN. Like a lot. I heard they just won a Daesang at the MAMA’s and their speech is beautiful. I want to watch it but I might try to save it for the Patreon, along with all the performances.
Anyways, back to the album. i love their special performance videos (although I do miss S.Coups and wish he was there) and I love that they did some of their songs at UNESCO. Which I’m still not exactly clear what that event was about. I should probably watch the hour+ long presentation to see what it was for. It was a youth event of some sort?
But I do know that they were in Paris and they all looked so handsome in their suits and slicked back hair and whatnot. It’s a little too much to handle!
Anyways, loved the performances. Loved the songs. I’m not sure which one is my favorite. Monster was such a surprise - such a Halloween jam. Headliner is heartwarming. Yawn is BEAUTIFUL. God of Music in Jeju Island is wonderful and colorful and joyful in all the ways. SOS and Diamond Days are just the best tracks to kick off with when you want all thirteen of them.
Which songs are your favorite?? Any cool tidbits we should know about the filming / lyrics / production of some of these songs? I feel like y’all usually know the goods and we love hearing them. Let us know!

Scoups came OUTTA NOWHERE and Joshua's pretty eyes get me every time. We're posting the next SVT Super Long Guide episode today. Once we get done with those, hopefully we can line up GOSE!! I cannot wait to start those!!

2023-12-08 19:49:29 +0000 UTCOmg finding SVT in the midst of our run of studying the HYBE bands (in order to watch Game Caterers) was one of the best discoveries for us ever! They're so good! I'm mad too that i didn't find them sooner!! So we got tickets to go see their Japan Concert in theaters and I CANNOT WAIT to see Allison freak out in theaters full of CARATs. She'll probably malfunction there as well. All 13 members on the big screen! Omg I might die too!! Anyways - SVT Guide going out today for the Performance Unit! I just love them so much ☺️☺️

You can feel everything they're feeling in their songs. Ugh so beautiful. Overall - the album is great and I cannot wait to watch the MAMA performance and speech! I LOVE LOVE LOVE SO MUCH when Allison is stunned speechless mid watch. She'll be bopping along then someone will pop onscreen and it breaks her brain =) It makes me so happy because we've all been there. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Can't wait for Performance team and Vocal team guides.

Yes UNESCO was a youth forum they attended in Paris, the speeches were incredible and the crowd was so lucky to see them so close 🥹.. yawn is a song woozi wrote for seungkwan while he was on break (after losing his best friend moonbin) - so it hits harder reading those lyrics — "don't hate yourself, you know it was a good choice. You were hurting so much but couldn't even talk about it, suffering alone" 😭😭 Woozi's love language is writing music for his members when they are going thru a rough time and it's amazing how he can put it in song form like this, and sharing it with us carats as well. Everyone can relate one way or another. I'm dying at Allison saying DK is coming for her 😂 that's what happened to me when I thought Jeonghan was my bias, then DK came for me out of nowhere. I love them all tho so my bias list is half the group at this point LOL. I'm glad you guys enjoyed this album! The production was immaculate. So beautiful and definitely fits the festive vibes they were going for. Yeah yall gotta check out going seventeen, or even in the soop is a great choice :) thank you ladies. 🩷🩵

2023-11-30 23:21:10 +0000 UTCYou did a better job of getting through Yawn than I did. 🤣 Woozi write that song for Seungkwan while he was on his hiatus earlier this year. It's both Woozi's feelings for Seungkwan while he was gone and Seungkwan's feelings for Moonbin after his death. They were really close friends. It is a lot. If you guys go back to Sector17 (the repackage of Face the Sun), Woozi wrote Circles for Wonwoo after his mom died and it gets me EVERY. TIME. Woozi can't even sing it live without crying (check out the clips from Caratland 2023). He's such a deep and emotional songwriter. On a brighter note, Diamond Days is a reworking and reference to Shining Diamond, their like, first song and it's so fun and great to see the growth. And Monster is my favorite. Such a great spooky jam. Love you guys!
