We're diving a little bit more deep on the BTS' solos with JK's newest collab with Jack Harlow. And we're going a little jazzy jazz time with V and his LIVE BAND for NPR Tiny Desk Korea.
I just have to say that I love love love live sets with live bands with live instruments and all the ad libs and fun tidbits in between. Omg so good.

Oh and I’ll be honest, it was not until “Standing Next To You”, that I really started to take notice of his solo project. The other two just didn’t grab me, but it’s all about preference. Not that I believe they are bad, it just didn’t grab me.

I love Tiny Desk, and I love V (Ult Bias btw) so I was like Allison full of tears of joy when I first watched this because I know this album means so much to V, and you see it all over his face as he performs the songs from this album. Something I've noticed with V, when BTS had live bands, their was such an excitement with V that was unlike other times, especially with the PTD concerts when there was a live band...this man just soaks up music, especially live instrumentation, it really speaks to his soul and gives him joy and it is a joy for me to watch him experience that joy so purely. Glad it brought you guys joy as well. (jeez, my comments be so long, lol)

I'll wait until after listening to his album as a whole - I think that will help with learning what the album is all about and why he choose to go this route. I guess we'll see then!

And that's actually good that he's doing this route - I think it's just something some ARMY's (myself included) aren't used to or are not quite expecting. But that's what this time is for. Time for each of them to explore what route they want to go with their solo music. The Boracity Magazine video essay about it was really interesting because you can see how each member had a say on what music they were making, how it was promoted, what interviews they did, who they collab'ed with, etc. So it makes sense, for JK with this and for each one of them. I just personally wasn't super in love with 3D at first but it grows on you. I'm excited to see his whole album though.
