Let's just say, Allison has fully developed a type here. And I don't blame her. Suga was one thing in That That. But Seventeen's western themed Hot dance performance video ... we were both pretty much dead afterward. And now we're getting Ateez saloon shoot-out?!
That bouncy chorus has been stuck in my head for days now.
Btw - is the cowboy the guy that was on JOLLY? Is that the same guy?
The duality is killing me, you guys.
And the car racing. And the boxing. There was so much going on. Legit like five movies going on at the same time and then they all break out in a dance line. I'm done.
Anyways, that's our first taste of Ateez. Which tracks should we do next? Answer was recommended by a Patron in the past ... totally open to more suggestions.

I've been watching more JOLLY videos and seeing how Ollie fumbles over little words like that can totally change the meaning of what he's trying to say. It's SO FUNNY!! But also like so seriously relatable. Language is hard!! But it can also be funny for those who are on the other side and seeing the mixup like that. As long as everyone has a good time and has grace for each other and keeps learning - it's all gravy! Seriously tho - we'll need to practice if we ever make it out to Korea (that's the goal!!).

2023-09-01 12:43:53 +0000 UTCIn Korean 피pi means blood, and 비 bi means rain, so the repetition regarding the "mushy peas" (pea in Korean is 완두콩 wandukong or 완두 wandu) and San's doubtful look was extra fun to me. It's funny too when learning languages and realizing that a slight shift in sound can make a word TOTALLY wrong. 커피 Keopi is COFFEE. 코피 Kopi is Nosebleed. So yeah, in my language learning journey I've run into so many sounds that are easily confused for other words lol.

Also MINGI is the cowboy in the hat that shoots up the bar. Yeah, he destroyed me in the Bouncy video. ATEEZ does have a story that goes through nearly all of their videos. The Hourglass plays a part, the person that they shoot in the bouncy video has been across multiple videos and arcs. I DO NOT know the storyline fully, but it is complex and incredibly entertaining to dig into.

Jimin will always be my #1 bias, but out of all other Kpop groups I follow, Ateez is my #2 and Hongjoong is my #2 bias closely trailing Jimin.
