December 2020 Gruber Update!
Added 2020-12-16 14:41:00 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Just a quick update before the end of the year. Things have been incredibly busy and to avoid burn out, I decided to delay some Patreon plans to 2021. This will be my last post of the year.
Some things that are happening:
First of all, Levi’s the best:

Slipways is in Alpha, and we launched a trailer! I’ve been busy writing music and designing everything from alien speech to planetary explosions. Jonathan Blow has been caught playing on Twitch!
--
I’m always looking for Pico-8 suggestions. To be honest, I’m short of ideas, especially on what tutorials to produce. So requests are appreciated!
Also, I was thinking, if I reach the $300 mark, I’d arrange an entire Vulfpeck album in Pico-8 (probably Thrill of the Arts) My arrangement of Tee Time is my most viewed video on Twitter. What d’ya think?

On Friday, Tom Hall is hosting Toy Box Jam 2. Assets include music and SFX by yours truly!

Teaching jazz piano at UofT is winding down for the year. I have a good start on my article on two-handed rootless voicings. This will probably end up being a 10,000 word article, completed by April.
--
I’m taking mixing lessons with my buddy Taylor. The plan is to start releasing electronically produced piano music next year. I don’t expect this music to get much attention, but I can’t express how excited I am to do this. This ALSO means I’ll be open to taking piano requests. Can’t wait!

That’s it for now. Have a happy, safe, rest of 2020. Thanks for being here. You’re the best.
