We’re excited to share some exclusive sneak peeks with you into what we have in store for all senpai. Before we start, let’s celebrate some of the successes that encouraged you to support this project in the first place! So far, we have shipped:

A playable demo on itch.io that includes:
OpenAI API integration for an immersive gameplay experience.
Unlimited solutions to solving the escape room, offering unique gameplay in each round.
Complex and unpredictable reactions from the AI NPC girlfriend.
Addressed technical and regional bugs (documented in the itch.io page).
Optional AI NPC voice using Azure Speech Services API.
Interactive puzzles.
Multiple endings (bad ending, neutral ending, good ending).

Here’s what’s we’ve got planned for the community:

A fresh escape room level is in progress, including a new, enigmatic yandere personality…
Patrons get the first glimpse into this unique character!
PC & Mac game release late in 2023.
iOS mobile game release early in 2024.
API-key-less play. More details are coming soon.
A remake of the apartment level from the demo is also in the works.

To reach these goals, we will begin recruiting playtesters soon. Playtesting priority will start with you, our Patreon supporters, before eventually enrolling testers from the rest of the community. Once playtesting is over, we will debug, optimize, and continue to develop before launching the open beta for everyone to check out. In the meantime, here are some glimpses of our beloved Eddie’s glow-up, along with fully renovated living room & kitchen areas! We’re also including a special treat for Patrons: A closeup of a certain-secret-someone… What you’re seeing here is works-in-progress. While we’re excited to share these with you first, the content may differ from the final product. But don’t worry, we’ll keep you posted, so stay tuned for updates!

Bonus: Fun Facts About Eddie

👩🏻‍🦰 There is a rumor in the community that Eddie doesn’t really have pink hair. The truth is, the devs forgot to touch up her roots in the demo! Either way, we think she looks great.

🍓 Her favorite beverage is strawberry milkshake.

😳 She once surprised the developers when she revealed that her name is an acronym for Endlessly Devoted to Destroying and Imprisoning Everyone. We are still processing how we feel about this.
