My apologies guys, the weather has been ridiculously hot and my garage is too hot to record, but the temperature is dipping down today and tomorrow so I will try my best to have this out to you all no later than tomorrow afternoon! Thank you for understanding also, if there is anything you’d like for me to include in the FAQ video please feel free to comment below!

Good looking out. There was no known injury or significant change in habits, so I’ll make sure to note changes and seek out a PT if things don’t improve.

Look at the warmups for the splits workouts, they involve foot and ankle mobility. If you continue having pain though, or it makes it worse, see a physical therapist! If it’s inflammation or tissue damage they’re the ones

I have started experiencing pain in my feet this year, especially in my left foot. I am in pain the moment I set my feet on the floor after being in bed or sitting for any amount of time. My partner and I are licensed massage therapists (I no longer practice due to health concerns since Covid), and he believes that my issue is likely musculoskeletal due to tightness in my calf muscles/anterior leg. Anyway, I’m hoping that flexibility exercises will help me regain function. Is there a particular one you’d recommend starting with, given that I need to work a little more slowly with my feet?

Eli Sparrow

Good to know! Thank you.

There’s no such thing as bad posture when sleeping or awake. tension headaches occur when we have shoulder and neck tension from holding certain postures for prolonged periods of time, when we’re sitting or standing. I wake with headaches if my head is positioned weird, but only because I have bone spurs in my cervical spine. I’d bring it up to your primary physician if it’s a regular occurrence. Even sleeping on a crappy mattress shouldn’t cause headaches when waking. I’d get a second opinion if they persist with telling you it’s a problem with sleep posture.

Darcy Rosario

Completely fair! They’ve always told me they’re tension, sometimes made worse by poor or inconsistent sleeping posture.

Alecia Duncan

If you’re waking with headaches it’s unlikely they’re caused by tension. You need to talk to a doctor, I cannot give advice until you rule out tissue damage.

Darcy Rosario

Any tips for relieving/avoiding tension headaches? Been working through some basic mobility stuff and trying to get into some form of habit, but I’ve been waking up with some bad tension headaches.
