Pouring Ingot.
Added 2023-05-21 22:39:44 +0000 UTCI'm back in Massachusetts for a short visit. I filmed this little video on... Thursday? and only got round to uploading it now. So it fits and starts it gets closer and closer. I need that ceramic plaster stuff. I think that deformed section was where the heavy molten brass hit the delicate impression in the sand.

2023-05-22 04:49:24 +0000 UTCMake a small pouring channel in the one corner of the mold with a path leading down to the casting area. You can cut that sprue off after the pour. This way, the weight of the pour is not crushing/disturbing your sand. I can make you a 3D print of what you are trying to cast to Pound on to pack the said better as well. Just hit me up, Happy to do it for you from your artwork.
