We know that many of you choose to cancel your memberships early to avoid forgetting about them and getting rebilled. While we understand the desire to manage your subscriptions, we want to highlight why we recommend keeping your membership active for the duration of the projects or at least until the version you wish to test releases.
Our systems are designed to communicate only with current members, so when you cancel early, you risk missing out on updated versions. For example, we try to release updates once a week. If you cancel your membership right after downloading the first version, you will lose access to three additional updates over the next three weeks that you would have received for no extra cost, if you had kept your subscription active. This means that you may miss out on important fixes, improvements, and new features that have been added since the initial release.
Please understand that this system is not designed to maximize our revenue, but rather to ensure that you receive the full benefit of your membership. We want to make sure that everyone who supports our work gets the most out of it, including the latest updates and fixes that are part of our ongoing development process.
