Help Connecting Discord and Downloading Maps

Hey everybody! I have had maybe 100-150 messages from contributors struggling to connect discord or once connected, struggling to download the map. I can only answer so many messages at a time as there is only one of me, and many of you. I will explain in detail below, exactly how to get connected and download the map. I may not be able to respond to you as quickly as you'd like, so please try these steps first if you are having issues.

1. Understand How We Do Things - First before we start, please understand the way our testing process works. Map projects are released for testing on Friday's at 5pm CST. You will have access to the newer version after the next Friday.

2. Connect Discord and Patreon - If you have not connected your discord with patreon, please do so. I will need to know that you are a Contributor Tier Member in order to get you the proper permissions in our discord community and allow you access to the contributor only areas. To connect discord with patreon please go to Patreon Settings > More > Connected Apps > Discord and link your accounts. Once this is done you will be invited to join our server "The Co-op".

3. Agree to the Rules in Discord - Once in our discord community you must accept the rules before you will be able to see channels. The rules can be found at: https://discord.com/channels/979072387213578270/979073945393319946 You must click the "I Agree" button or one of the react buttons at the bottom of the rules. Once this is done you will receive your "Verified Tester" role. 

4. If you have followed each of these instructions, you will be able to find the download within the "DR Modding" section of discord. Remember new versions release (Fridays at 5pm CST). 

COMMON PROBLEMS WITH CONNECTING OR DOWNLOADING

1. Not seeing discord channels - Make sure you have agreed to the rules and have the "member" role. Follow step 3 above.

2. Can't see the Download Link - Make sure you have agreed to the rules and have the "member" role. Follow step 3 above. If you have signed up prior to the release date, please contact me on patreon.

3. Download Link Errors / Can't Download the Map - You may see an error message, a message saying that patreon was unable to connect your account, or a message saying you have not pledged enough. These most often occur either because your subscription did not go through, you canceled your subscription early or you have failed to link your accounts properly. Please understand that the download link is only active for current Contributor Tier Members. If your account is canceled, suspended or expired, you will not be able to download map projects. If you feel you received one of these messages in error, please send me a message.

I hope this will help answer some of your questions and solve some of your technical difficulties. Please try these remedies before contacting me. I am extremely busy answering messages, but I am not always able to keep up with the large volume. It may take me some time to respond to your questions.
