Important update. No, for real.
Added 2020-04-01 22:38:39 +0000 UTCI legitimately finished putting Ms. Marsh's events into the game at 2 in the morning on April Fools. Therefore, the April fools joke is that... there is no April fools joke.
Yeah, remember months ago when I said we were waiting on one image? (I'm pretty sure I told some people about it on discord) well guess what, I still didn't get that image from the artist I commissioned and had to get it from ANOTHER artist.
I'm out of calm. Fuck 'em. I was even almost scammed by someone claiming to be an artist about a month ago. This entire worldwide 'thing' going on when I'm high-risk isn't helping either, so I'm just going to stop being professional and start calling out bullshit when I see it.
Oh another note, the new artist has earned my trust within a month of consistent work. I not only finally got Ms. Marsh events in the game, but he's made progress towards Carol's and the end of 2nd week event, progressing the game farther along than it has been in almost a year.
...Oh shit, I forgot to ask them for what I should advertise. We kinda just stuck with "I need this" and he goes "Okay, sending a sketch in a day or two", which he does. I'll ask him what to promote and make a post on it later.
The update itself is small, since it only includes Marsh's events and some small updates, like her text being slightly darker pink or spelling checks, but it's better than nothing.
So the public update will be out on the 14th-15th of April, but 5 dollar or higher tiers get it now. You should be able to access the update I sent just before this one with the game.
Halloweve2 kinda fell by the wayside, but I got this out so I'm happy.
Anyways, keep safe and social distance, wash hands and plan out grocery trip only once in a while so you don't have to be out as much. To essential service workers, keep up the good work. And to you, please keep me, a person with part of their lung removed, in mind the next time you think it's fine to ignore social distancing.
Seriously, I have to treat everyone like they have the plague.

One day I'll focus on changing the functionality of the game for the better. Promise. I'm just kinda focused on releasing the 2nd week for now, since it's long overdue. I think I'll look into it more after this in-game week.

2020-04-03 20:29:44 +0000 UTCThat's odd. After choosing that option, you are supposed to be able to continue on. I'm also able to do it fine on my side. Keep in mind that there is a period of 6 seconds before the scene changes, and alt-tabbing freezes the game until you click on it again. Was there anything else noticeable when you played through that?

Unlike the other route the screen just goes dark after they agree to go back home and no to be continued is displayed, neither does it take you back to the title screen, it just freezes on a black screen.

I'm sure Ren'py based games have spoiled me, but the persistent save functionality they have is miles more convenient as well as the rollback function when you've skipped too far is priceless
