But why? It was a symbol of Austrian-Hungarian domination and religious oppression - and it’s in a position right across from the Jan Huss memorial - I can understand why a lot of people are upset, you only have to read a little about the history of Prague - what next, statues of Reinhard Heydrich and Stalin?
