Added 2025-01-13 21:12:43 +0000 UTCFirst thing. Patreon subscriptions have now surpassed pre-Rick meltdown numbers. Those that believed the RS diatribe and left the community have either returned or been replaced by new Patrons. I can actually breathe for once knowing my bills will be paid and I don’t have to worry about going broke. Second thing. My YouTube numbers have returned. Some of the newer videos on the FILM IT channel have gotten pre-2022 numbers and higher. New subs are up 1000%. The financial stress I've had since 2022 is now gone. Sadly I believed for a long time I wouldn’t have this comeback. I can’t tell you what your support all through this time has meant to me. I’m so fortunate to be able to plan filming trips and eliminate stress so I can get stronger and healthier. I can’t tell you how easy this job is when there’s no drama queens or fame whores dragging me down with their petty bullshit. I’ve learned many lessons over the past two years. No more collaborating with other channels. No more plucking nobodies from obscurity and putting them up on a pedestal. No more friending con artists who want to use me for their own gain. No more fucking podcast invites from people I’ve never heard of. No more giving trolls my time. Never ever EVER E V E R again. This new fence around me is one you won’t get the key to until you prove your intentions and clear the bar. That awful nervous feeling in my stomach that’s been there since 2022 is gone. If you’ve got someone around you that makes you feel this way...fucking get rid of them! Have a great day everyone! -DB
