I have an art poster from the movie, Wizard of Oz. In the picture Dorothy is wearing a PINK gingham dress, even though she wears a BLUE gingham dress in the movie. Her shoes are not the ruby red shoes she wears in the movie. The shoes, in the poster are just a brown colored pair of shoes. I have never been able to find any answers to the reason the dress and shoes are different than what was worn in the movie. I don't know any history of this poster. All I know is this poster was left hanging on the wall, in a house when my Grandparents moved into that house, in 1974. It's just something I am curious about because I love the movie, Wizard of Oz.

I am also an artist and collector so I find this very fascinating and interesting. Ironically I was working on my IPad doing illustrations using Procreate. You might enjoy a new iPad and I love drawing with the apple pencil. It’s a game changer although I am partial to traditional mediums. Thanks again for sharing your stories. *I like the duck taped banana! I didn’t know you were the actual winner of the auction! 😉
