this was an awesome place to visit. worth the detour if you’re ever in the area!
Those four dolls in the hallway are chilling, but that boy, w what look like little fangs, is HORRIFIC!

I have a couple pieces of uranium glass under a black light on my bookshelf. I would absolutely fight for that turkey butter dish.

I like the Budweiser Custer's Last Fight prints that they had a couple of. Someone once said that no other painting has ever been stared at more by so many drunken low brow people

Wow! I could spend all day and lots of money in that place! That suite you looked at was gorgeous. The green glass that glows has something like uranium in it to get that effect. Great video Dan 👍

Felt like an historic exhibition than a general antique store, well done to the owners. Dillon and the Nazi Salt had me laughing

Reason why it glows green is that it has uranium oxide in it. Vaseline and uranium oxide were used as coloring agents in glass making pre-WWI. Uranium oxide gives off a green tint, and vaseline a yellow tint. The Uranium oxide glasses are actually a tiny bit radioactive. They look pretty cool!

I'm not sure, Dan, but I think those very cool green pieces were referred to as carnival glass. It was also sometimes called "poor man's Tiffany," if I'm not mistaken. I've got to agree with Myles (above) that I could have watched an hour of this tour, or even more! Thanks for another great "visual time time capsule!" Like everyone else, I'm eagerly awaiting more.
