man this episode seriously made me weep. there are those nay sayers that will quick search "dan bell net worth" and get some bogus sum like youre a m illionaire and i think thats what really sparks all those rumors of you being so well off and then when you ask for a little bit for your dog it makes you look like youre taking advantage of the situation. im glad to hear from your perspective and understand that you were really going through hard times. we all truely support you dan and i hope youre better off.

I’m determined to crawl out if this hole and basically restarting my business from scratch. You’re strong and asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness but a smart thing to do. My favorite saying is ‘a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Love you ❤️

What an awesome community we have on here that so many people did step up and help so quickly! It lifts my faith in humanity. I understand how it's especially hard for someone who's fiercely independent like you, Dan, to ask for help. However, people truly WANT to help whenever they can. Especially this year, as we've been continuously reminded of all the ways we can't-do-this and can't-do-that. In so many ways, we felt trapped, feeling helpless or useless. Collectively sending a few bucks to someone who's done so much for us? It means we get to say to ourselves, "I CAN do that!" So, thank you for LETTING your friends help. In honor of Dice (please give him a pat for me), I leave my favorite (fitting) Jack London quote: "A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog."

2021-06-20 07:09:27 +0000 UTCI've been there where I had to pawn stuff to get by. It is tough asking for help. I had to ask for help when I was going through a very difficult time. Your fans are here for you. I donated what I could to help. It wasn't much, but I know what it is like being in that spot. I'm glad Dice is okay. My chihuahua Buddha has some medical issues. It absolutely sucks to feel helpless. I haven't spoken with my parents in like 15 years. I could never go to them for help. I was lucky to have some good friends.
