After seeing a number of friends fall victim to bot spamming, and after having patrons cancel the night before pledges are due to be charged on occasion, I feel it safer to make some slight changes to the way I accept patron payments from now on.
I will need to contact patreon about this personally in order to put these changes into effect, but from next month onwards, patrons are going to be charged up front before they have access to my content.
This should not affect my regular pledgers at all, it may ask you for your term reward sooner though, I am still looking into everything.
If this change affects your payment at all / you need longer, please contact me! I will do my best to be as helpful as possible as I don't want to put any of you guys out in any way
