Solving Issues Relating to a Power Query | European Football Model

Attached to this post are two files: the normal and "Legacy" 'Excel LADZ 2024-25 European Football Model'. While there are NO mathematical differences between these files and the files uploaded in the previous post on this model, I've replaced the Power Queries with data from ESPN rather than Football Reference.
This is because some users were experiencing issues importing the data from Football Reference. An error might appear like this:
This issue is often very hard to solve. It could be a security issue your computer is having, language problems or compatibility errors. To solve issues like this that may arise in the model building process, simply change the source of the data to something that works. It's really important that a model in Excel is able to update automatically through the "Refresh All" button. More models to come lads, stay tuned 🔥

G’day, lad! Not currently. It could definitely be done though. You would just have to work out a “scaling factor” between each league, to accurately adjust each team’s Attacking and Defensive Ratings. For example, an ATT Rating of 1.1 in Ligue 1 means a team scores goals at a rate of 10% more than the average team in the league. However, if Ligue 1 were combined with the EPL (a stronger league) then the real ATT Rating of the Ligue 1 team should decrease. If you were to track results between teams in different leagues during Champions League games, then a formula could be worked out to adjust a team’s ATT & DEF Rating based on the league they’re in, and the quality of the league of their opposition 👍
