Oh come all you wordsmiths, you weavers of rhyme

To the place where the crowd’s always raging
So string up your lyres and polish your bells
For it’s time to be quite engaging!

 

To some, there is no joy more sublime than a perfect music festival: great tunes, mouthwatering food, and eclectic company. While something approaching the perfect vibe can occasionally be found in the material plane, the greatest festival of all is maintained perpetually within a realm nestled comfortably in its own groove: Soulflare.

Choriana, Archfey of Festival, They Who Break Glass and Dance Like Fire, maintains the immaculate rhythm of Soulflare, serving as coordinator, host, MC, and sometimes even headliner. In their wisdom, at the birth of the concept of music itself, they created this sanctuary for the arts.


“From this garden came a brilliant stage, so that all may witness the visual art of whoever would grace them with sound. From this stage arose a bustling market, so that all may have an opportunity to revel in their own arts and share them with the world for just reward. Around this market grew a bustling campsite, so that those who wished to revel in music did not feel the cold wind of a long walk home, and could rest their bones knowing another ballad awaited them tomorrow. “

Though it is not known whether their companions are also their creations, Choriana is often supported by Mojan, a genie of sound and song whose ear reading of even the most complex melodies goes unmatched, and the inexplicably graceful one-creature brass band known as the Bleating Hydra. Their performances are legendary when they take place, though they are more commonly sighted providing pomp and circumstance to the day’s featured artists.

Soulflare welcomes you, beckons you to dance. It invites you to doff your armor and weapons and take a while to enjoy the truly beautiful sensory experiences it has to offer, for so few places offer the same. Choriana shall play host to you for as long as you desire, and it is their fondest wish that, if you leave the festival, you do so with the intent to return with songs and stories to share.
