📢 Status of FNOP 2 and the Update

We want to be completely transparent about what’s happening with FNOP 2.

First of all: we understand your frustration. You have every right to feel impatient or disappointed, but what we cannot tolerate are insults or disrespect towards the team. We are committed to doing things right, and that’s why we need to explain the situation clearly.

The truth is that Epic Games has not provided VR support in Unreal Engine 5.4.4, which is the version we were working with. When we exported the update, the game didn’t run properly even for us. We simply cannot release a broken or low-quality product: if we released it like that, the complaints would be even bigger; if we don’t release it, we know it also causes frustration. But please believe us when we say: if we haven’t launched it yet, it’s because there is a serious and valid reason behind it.

🔧 Our solution:
The last stable version with proper VR support from Epic is Unreal Engine 5.3.2. In fact, the game’s 1.7 version, which worked well for everyone, was built in that version. That’s why we’ve decided to port FNOP 2 back to Unreal Engine 5.3.2. This will take work, but we are confident it will solve the issue once and for all.

We know you don’t want to wait any longer, and that delays are frustrating. You are absolutely free to cancel your subscription if you feel it’s the right choice, but all we ask is patience: our goal is to deliver a stable, high-quality game — not something broken because of a flawed Unreal Engine version.

Unfortunately, this bad luck with the engine was beyond our control. But what we can assure you is that we are actively working on fixing it, staying in contact with Epic Games and moving the project to the most reliable version.

Now, for those who believe that we are only pretending to work on FNOP 2, dragging things out just to gain money without actually fixing the game, we want to clarify something important.

We have just released another non-VR game, which avoids the Unreal Engine VR problem altogether — and you will see that it works fine for everyone. If our intention were to simply stall and take people’s money without delivering, we would not be releasing new content as compensation. The fact is, we are creating additional projects, both VR (on stable versions of Unreal Engine) and non-VR, to ensure there is value for our supporters while we continue to solve FNOP 2’s issues.

To be transparent, the team is currently working on six projects: one multiplayer game, two simulators, two survival games, and one possible “life-sim” style project inspired by The Sims. These are real developments in progress, not empty promises.

We want to be honest: the VR project has burned us out. Even within the team, there is frustration, and if it were only up to personal feelings, we would have stopped developing it. But we continue because we know it is our responsibility — we released it here, and we owe it to you to fix it.

Please understand that if this were just about money, none of these other projects would exist. The truth is that we want to expand as a game development team and deliver much more than just one struggling VR game. Bigger and better things are on the way, and we thank you for your patience through all of this. 🙏
