An open letter to those who pledge falsely...

My patrons doubled this month and well, over 10 of them are fake e-mails that bounced back. I'm not quite sure what to do about this but to ask that whomever does this sort of thing or is doing this to please stop. All of my patreon work is posted elsewhere for all to see. I don't use patreon as a paywall and there's really no reason to pledge falsely to me. The only thing it's accomplishing is really just making me feel pretty bad about myself.
I hit my milestone goals but under false means and I'm really not sure what to do about it. Because my patreon content relies on the extra money to afford me time to do them, this means that even though I've reached a goal I do not have the money or the time to do them. This not only affects me but those who are genuinely donating their hard earned money to see these things happen. Just like in grade school, one bad apple spoils the bunch. Or in this case 11 bad apples.
I'm not sure what this is trying to accomplish by pledging falsely to me but there's no gain for you. The only thing it's doing is hurting me and those who donate genuinely.
I apologize to those whom did pledge to me and were expecting those milestone goal rewards but it's not going to happen this month. In the future, to those who are pledging falsely, please stop doing it. This is all I can really do.
