I think Ben Whitehead did an outstanding job as Wallace; he's previously voiced him in video games, and a BBC Proms concert, since 2009 and officially replaced Peter Sallis on his retirement in 2010, The sheer amount of visual gags, references and easter eggs in this is phenomenal. There's Facebook groups dedicated to finding them all. For instance, the narrowboat "Accrington Queen" is a titledrop of the 1951 film "The African Queen". Then there's the "no parkin" sign; and the sign at the Yorkshire/Lancashire border, with "keep out" on one side and "no, you keep out" on the other.
