Good to see this. If you're going to view more Steptoe episodes, I'd recommend: The Piano; Full House; Men of Property; Robbery with Violence (all B/W); Men of Letters; A Perfect Christmas/1974 (those two are colour).

A few things: in case you don't know, P.A.Y.E. means 'Pay As You Earn', the system whereby an employer takes income tax and National Insurance contributions from your wages before paying you. (It also came to have another sense of 'Pay As You Enter', when public buses did away with having conductors to take fares.) Old Mother Riley was a popular music hall and film character, originated from the 30s through to the 50s by Arthur Lucan and continued into the 80s by Roy Holland. Albert in this outfit does indeed bear a striking resemblance. Great to see you having fun with these iconic shows.
