I'm not sure how an American election will really have an effect on a UK election if at all, does make me wonder sometimes if it does seeing as both Canada, UK and Australia all seem to copy the US on many things, if that's the case surely Sunak would want the UK election sooner rather than later, biggest threat for him right now is Reform taking away votes and allowing Labour to get in, that's what most would put their money on, either way imo it won't matter if it were held tomorrow or 9 months from now he doesn't have a chance in hell probably why it's being pushed back so much

It has to be done by January 2025 and I don't think they'll wait that long, although I think Sunak is just scared of losing his title so waiting as long as possible! And they surely wouldn't want a campaign to coincide with the American election. Who knows, they're all a big waste of time

2024-04-03 15:50:55 +0000 UTCI WISH we knew when the election was. It should be this year but Sunak is refusing to set a date. Even more bizzarly the longer he leaves it the further he falls in the opinion polls. Talk about groundhog day!
