Seen a bunch of clips of this for quite a few years now. Not a full episode probably since the 2000's. The Nan character being one of the most popular for reaction clips. (She reminds me a little of my own late Nan, bless her.) The character is based partly on a lady Catherine met in her youth, in a residential home. I'd forgotten about so many of these characters. Shocks lady is basically my mother. I once said boo to her in the softest voice, while in the middle of making the point that she is ridiculously too jumpy, and she legit screamed. π€£ There may or may not be one or two characters that may have not aged as well as others. But honestly I can't fully recall to what degree. But I do recall one sketch that's made the rounds on the reaction circuit. Which is based on a character who's premise is to claim to have skills and talents that they clearly don't. That context then leads up to a later sketch, which is totally meant to be very offensive. By then I imagine it was intended to elicit that, omg what are they going to do now moment. Is the payoff funny. If you continue, then obviously can judge for yourself on that.
