I actually like the Funky version quite a bit, though like you guys said, it’s not Funk in the traditional sense. I’d probably give the Rock version another spin or two, I wasn’t really feeling it at first, but it got better at the end. All in all, not bad remixes. There are some I like the most, but none that I don’t overall. Who is #1 on the Billboard Global 200, so anything that extends the life of this song is a good thing. Shoutout to Jimin for getting another number one hit! Congratulations to JimMON, the man himself, as Blaze would say, lol…

2024-07-30 16:16:21 +0000 UTCThere’s a clip in a few places of Jimin singing w someone playing the guitar-acoustic version. Acoustic #1 - I can really sink into the pure vocal. #2 - Beautiful mind - groovy Funky version sounded like disco. I could see the dancers twirling and spinning.

Now rock seems old fashioned! I agree that the funk version wasn't very funky, and that's a shame...but I wonder if Jimin's voice is actually suited to funk. What do y'all think?
