The guy who plays Miles is Robert Glenister, Philip Glenister’s brother (a.k.a Gene Hunt). He’s also in a few episodes of A Touch of Frost with David Jason. I really have a soft spot for this episode even though it’s not very highly rated with the fans. It’s one of my comfort OFAH episodes, if I just want to put an episode on in the background whilst I’m doing other stuff. The scene in the van with the diving suit still makes me giggle even though I’ve seen it about 100 times.
