side note about fans being taken seriously. As an older woman people think I have lost it to be a fan of BTS. The guys at work give me a hard time about it all the time. But they know all the ppl stars have dated and had kids with and that is ok and are huge into sports. lol

We went through all the problems of being called teeny boppers but gradually that changed as they realised that their fan base went beyond teenage girls. Things are changing in people's perception of K-Pop but it has the added problem of having to fight racism as well as sexism. I know there are straight guys in their sixties who are ARMYs and the more the true nature of the fandom is known the more the boys will be taken seriously. (BTW in the UK we call any group of male friends, 'the boys' even though they may be grey haired and on their Zimmer frames.)

I also stan ARMY, while we are going through a lot right now with solos and antis ARMY real ARMY are still the most loving amazing people. As someone who doesnβt have any blood family left. ARMY, and BTS have stepped in and become my family. I could not love them more. ππ«π
