Re the opening credits scene: he's painting the ship, would paint dry in outer space?

2023-06-28 22:00:40 +0000 UTCthe first episode of series 3 was meant to answer all those questions but for whatever reason it wasn't made so instead the first episode has a star wars style opening crawl that is deliberately played to fast so you can't read it.

2023-06-28 18:02:18 +0000 UTCIn Better than Life, the butler who gave them everything was Tony Hawkes, a UK Stand-up (still going). He was the audience warm-up man on the show, so they gave him an on-camera part. I think he was talkie-toaster in S1.

Robert has said before that David was by far the better actor (he didn't have to have his lines written about the set like Rob did!)
