SUGA: ROAD TO D-DAY REACTION!! (Watch Links in Description)

Comments

Okay, finally watched this because I was waiting till the week of when i get to go to his concert so that this doc is fresh in my mind. What an honor to be on the road with him! Watch his struggles, watch him meet up with other artists that he's cool with and refresh himself through being other people. It was cool to see Yoongi taking this time with everyone. Mr. Sakamoto, was clearly a big inspiration for Yoongi and to see him meet someone who is so seasoned in the industry, I feel like the atmosphere and the conversation was so respectable of each other and super peaceful and gentle. We finally got to know what he was working on in the soop and, just what a great documentary!

I was finally able to watch this. Loved seeing how much little moments effected you. Especially Snooze. Which had me bawling like a baby. Sakamoto-San is such a special artist. I am so glad that Yoongi had all of these amazing people to look up to as a child. Now he is doing the same for the next generation. He truly is a special human being. We all say that we are better with Namjoon in the world (and we are) but we are also very lucky to have Yoongi in the world. LπŸ’œ

nawww...... I was hoping that those who will not be in the Military would get together on their anniversary, unless those available all rock up in Singapore on the 12th????? lol

I wish I could have watched your reaction to this, but the pistachio sounds chased me away :( It was a beautiful and interesting documentary. (misophonia is what my condition is called, if you want to know more about it.)

Tauni the Mostly Harmless

you need to react or listen to The Rose! Woosung is the main vocal in the band and they’re so good and all they’re music is 😭🀌🏼🀌🏼

I finally finished watching this reaction. πŸ™Œ I wholeheartedly agree that GOOD music is meant to be digested and processed. Prior to knowing BTS, I was always fascinated by lyrics and instrumentals and how that impacted my experience as I listened to the music. Then going into BTS and just realizing the attention to their craft is awe-inspiring. You can't help to listen and re-listen and take in what they're trying to say. Back in my day, I would rewind my cassette tape and listen to a song over and over when it moved me. I find that this no longer the case with these music trends. It's not being digested and savored but chewed and spit out ( if you will). BTS is the exception!! When ARMY says we're well fed. We mean it. We have 3 course meal and then some! Come on!!!πŸ’œπŸ™Œ

I've watched it the first hour it dropped in Disney+ (I really took a pause from my work, sorry work lol) This just made me appreciate and love the album even more, if that's even possible!! BTS never settles for mediocre output. This documentary depicts everything that made Yoongi my bias from the moment I started learning about BTS. He's just exceptional - as an artist, as a musician, as a human being... he's just wise and insightful beyond his years. He never strayed from what he said a few years ago, that when he gets enough influence and pull he'd use it to change the the mindset of the idol system. Thanks for the video, fam! I always enjoy your reactions and commentaries. Looking forward to when you recount your D-Day concert experience. LπŸ’œ

If you think you're ready for his show, you're not. It was one of the most emotional, exciting, unbelievable experiences of my life. To watch this then see him preform and knowing what he went through to get to D-Day, I don't have words. Suga is absolutely, no doubt a genius of this generation. These lyrics take me so much time to truly think about, absorb and understand. It's so much deeper then just shuffle or next song. I can't skip anything. Thanks for this great reaction once again! 4L πŸ’œ

I feel the same way about the way music is absorbed nowadays, I don’t listen to radio much but I always find myself listening to some. sort of BTS music. Whether is group or solo, new or old but Suga really got me with this album ( and Jimin) I find myself listening to them over and over .. in case you want to listen to more Woosung, he is in a group β€œ the rose’ and they are VERY good. They are an actual band and been listening to them a lot lately too. This documentary was everything and the part he goes to Japan gets me every time. when they start playing piano together, it tugs at my heart knowing that he passed but also knowing that Suga got to meet him and what that whole experience meant to Him , is so special. Can’t wait for you guys to go to concert and hear about your Experience. From what I’ve been seeing/ hearing, you’re in for a real treat. Till next time

I feel like I’ve been in a music, philosophy and life in general seminar since The Astronaut was released. I think I levitated while watching this documentary with you guysπŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ It could have been hours long, and I would have still been glued to it. It’s so comforting sharing these moments with you all. Thank you so much! LπŸ’œ πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

When Suga was saying he was so awe-inspired by the sightseeing location early on in the documentary he was at the Grand Canyon. The mountain Suga was referring to in R-chita was when he went on a personal retreat in Korea to write music. And I noticed in the documentary that the translations were richer and explained what Suga was saying better than Weverse.

Lily Wrenn

Amazing reaction once again.. I did watched the documentary already but still got me everytime.

sarahjean santos

This documentary is special. What a blessing we get such an intimate look at true genius at work. I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Elmont show and I’m still trying to return to my body. It was a proud moment for ARMY seeing SUGA truly in his element after all he has been through, and his signature smile melted everyone’s heart. With such a limited schedule, I pray one of the shows is filmed so one day everyone can enjoy it. So excited for anyone going! As if D-Day wasn't enough, with this incredible performance you will have a new appreciation for the gift that is Min Yoongi. Bring your ARMY bombs, bring your hankies, and bring your soul catchers!

One beautiful thing I noticed was SUGA’s journey during this documentary. When it begins, he discusses the confusion and burnout that we saw BTS try to explain in the Festa dinner. He was saying that he didn’t have any stories left to tell. He didn’t have any dreams anymore. Then, like a blessing that we often witness with these seven members, his soul was nourished. He found joy visiting fellow artists and traveling and just enjoying the journey. It may be a coincidence but as he talked with Mr. Sakamoto, the man that inspired Yoongi to start making beats as a kid, Yoongi started talking about dreams again. This was really an inspiring documentary. I’ll watch it many times.

i just love this man so much it literlly hurts πŸ₯²πŸ’”

Oh wow! I can't wait to watch this again and watch it with you guys! I was wondering what I was going to watch tonight. Awesome!!

Marguerite Engel

So glad to watch this with you both. Such a great, warm-hearted documentary that lets us peak inside Yoongi's brain during his creation of this album. I am also sooo glad to see him hanging out with musicians that respects and in his words "treats (them) like human beings". Nico, I saw your expression during the performance of Snooze and it gives me all the feels. This song is like an inspiration, words of encouragement when we need from Yoongi, and a hug at the same time. I have a feeling that when life gets a bit too tough, when our dreams seem distant, we're all going back to this song and listen to Yoongi's words that it's all going to be okay.

I'm watching also...on Disney plus
