2023-05-05 12:39:49 +0000 UTCMika, you beautiful, sweet, gentle human, it's nice to see you again! Wow. What an emotional album. So I was mainly vibing in the first half with you guys as we've seen most of the MVs and I got to see the lyrics for them before. I like looking at the lyrics while I listen to BTS, because what if the song is upbeat, but the lyrics are actually very sad, like Bangtan does, and then i feel like I get cheated out of my happy emotions. Haha! But from Polar Night and forward, thats when I started to feel the emotions. Polar night, it's dark and cold, and then there was the dawn, and i was reminded of the Tomorrow lyrics, "Because the dawn right before the sun rises is the darkest" and the first half of the album is indeed dark. Snooze is what really got to me. In the hook, it says You, surviving on snoozes to get closer to your dreams, it's okay to rest. Today at least, don't even dream. When you silently show me a faint smile, only then I feel a little relieved I'm ngl, i had an anxious-driven, bitter weekend for something, that isn't the biggest issue in the grand scheme of things, but it's been weighing me down all weekend and this morning. And this morning, I was dreaming of the opposite of everything that happened this morning, so clearly it was beautiful and peaceful. But then i had to wake up and I was really sad about what this weekend was and what it wasn't. To me, these lyrics talk about dreams of your life, but this one hit home for a personal and small dream for my weekend. And although this song's meaning is DEFINITELY NOT WHAT i'M GETTING FROM IT, I was told by Agust D to stop dreaming for a second because I had to smile for my real journey that I'm going through and use my dream as my compass to get through my real-life nightmares. Once again, although this isn't what the song is saying, I'm reminded about the hardwork it takes to go from dreams to reality, as well as it's okay for me to snooze and smile. I don't know if this makes sense to any of you, or if this actually makes sense to me either, but this is what I feel right now. He also chanted, "it's all gonna be alright." so whatever it is, I trust him.

Always enjoy watching you guys react. Feels like I am watching with a group of like-minded friends (Co-ARMY). I will be watching the concert here in LA alone technically, but having co-Armys around feels like we have a huge amazing family. More power to you guys!

The lyrics are very in line with their last album "Heal" which is an amazing story in itself. Do check it out. You won't regret it! They have a documentary called The Heal Project that goes with the album.

She fit right in as if she's been there all along. I wish you all lived closer cause it would've been great to meet you all last weekend in Dallas. This album is so emotional. It really gets me in my soul. I wouldn't exactly say I have a favorite song cause each one hits differently, but I will say that "Snooze" brought me to tears without even understanding the lyrics. Each time I listen to a song, or read lyrics, I find something new to love about it. Min Yoongi is a true artist.

The song is for future/young artist. As always I love your reaction. All over from dancing , face contorting, amazed looks. Love you guys.

And my thought is they all create demos and they do not make the final cut. I am sure they go back to those demos and implement the music into other songs in some way. Please watch R-uchwita, RM renamed the show when he interviewed AgustD. To me this was the BEST Episode. It was so heartwarming and AgustD/RM really got personal and you can tell that they have a life long friendship, which is so great to see. All of them are brothers and it is rare in the industry to see a brotherhood such as BTS. Love them to LIfe. ππ

I was right there with the feelings everyone talked about. Bottom line for me was Min Yoongi has gone through it and has spent some arduous time unpacking his past to get to present day. We feel the visceral raw emotions from this man and that's without for me even understanding the words at first. How apropos is that with the piano?π Also, the singer in this song is Woosung of The Rose and might I add, excellent choice! (But can you imagine one our guys singing that?!?!!!!) Sidenote: when I heard this song I immediately cried. I've had a lot of hardships recently and him repeating "everything will be ok" was so therapeutic for me. I might not quite believe that everything will be ok but I will continue to pursue that dream.ππ«

It was an instant reaction, and after reading the lyrics for Snooze it's honestly got such a special place in my heart.

Thank you to Nico, Blaze, Mika and AJJ for being you and sharing your time and talents with us! DβAlice - I really want to shout out your analysis at the end re the concept of catharsis. That was the missing puzzle piece for me. Trying to pick out favs is a lost cause as they change with each re-listen. Today it is D-Day and Amygdala. It will surely change tomorrow!

2023-04-24 13:19:59 +0000 UTChave just finished watching this album reaction and i felt i reacting here at home all over again - this is my fourth listen now, but my first album reaction listening - everyone's reactions and voices have been heard by little ole me and it's just enhanced what i've already been feeling about D-Day. if i had to pick favourites - and trust me, from this album they will always be alternating depending on how i'm feeling at the time i think - but right now it's Amygdala and Snooze. they both just hit. when you see the translations of the lyrics trust me they'll hit even harder.... Woosung's hauntingly beautiful vocals, and knowing Sakamoto-sensei worked his magic.... makes this so so special. so thank you all for sharing this experience with us - and welcome D'Alice - lovely to meet you! so now it's good night from me in Australia....

Some of the songs have a deep meaning so definitely read the lyrics especially to Amygdala, Snooze, SDL, Poplar Night and Life Goes On. Yoongi said Amygdala is a personal song. It talks about some private things in his life. And I love the reaction was waiting for yβall to react to D-DAYπ I would say my favorite is Huh?! Snooze, and Amygdala. I love that he told his story with Amygdala. And Snooze is a song that I relate too especially now. Itβs a song that I really needed to hear
