Hi. I just recently joined patreon and have been looking forward to seeing your review on Face. This album is also so special to me as it helped me the same way. Somehow, emotions that had been ignored or pushed back had the chance to be processed without the damage. It was freeing. This was definitely a no skip album! P.S. sorry to hear about the antis attacking you for loving the album. Sadly, a lot of solo stans are hating and harassing anyone showing love to anything Jimin related. I see it everywhere. Hope it didnt traumatize you. Keep it real, baby! See you on your next videos!

Hi i just joined your patreon today to watch your reaction to FACE and i want to say that this album touched me the same way, it shows me that I'm not alone and make me relate to Jimin's journey in a way .one thing i want to point out ,INTERLUDE it's like a link between face off and like crazy, you hear him in his usual day so after facing off his thoughts he get up the next morning go to work do concert cry alone get in his car back to his home to be alone and the circles begins again he will dive in his dark thoughts, another thing in the end of INTERLUDE you hear him picking up a bottle of water fell a glasee drink water and put the glass again on the table, when like crazy MV start jm is alone setting in a table with a half full glass and a water bottle. so INTERLUDE is the intermission(his daily routine) between those alone moment where he start thinking and battling his demons.

Hey, I just joined your patreon today which is why I'm commenting on this now, I hope it's ok as this was like 6 months ago now 😅 I just want to say that I loved Face when it came out and I still love it now, it's been one of my favourite albums this year. I think Jimin has a beautiful voice and I love how emotional face is and that there are so many layers to it. I listen to it most days - I love how as you all said he shows us a different vocal style but also portrays his emotions differently in every single song, so I will wake up in the morning and want to listen to this album no matter how I am feeling because there is a song on it to match every mood (I hope that makes sense?) I also love how real you guys are, thank you for sharing with us Nico I am so sorry to hear you are struggling. I appreciate you all so much as reactors and fellow army (I've been army for 1 year last month!) It's sad to hear about the negativity and abuse you've been getting, Jimin is my bias, I love him so much but I support all the members and their solo releases, I can respect their artistry and vision even if I don't like the song because that's what being true army is all about. I am incredibly grateful to be part of the BTS journey. It's a 10/10 for me. *And* I was with ya'll; it felt too short, but honestly, it's because I wanted more—more songs, more vocal amazingness, more sides of Jimin—the first time I listened. Each additional time I listen to the album, I appreciate (more and more) the album for the beautiful gift it is (regardless of the length). It’s a 10/10 because I was not only in my feelings, but I was dancing/moving along without realizing it. I can *feel* the effort and care that went into this album. This *chapter 2* for Jimin (and all of the guys) is so exciting! Time reveals more things for/from each soloist :)

This is my favorite review of this album, good job guys. Its my favorite solo project of a BTS members for similar reasons that Nico stated, its been helping me FACE some things that i've been trying to run from, specially when pandemic was very hard for me. Jimin was so brave yet vulnerable to expose himself like this, this project is an amazing piece of art. 10/10 for me as well Thank you Jimin for sharing this with the world.

Ahhh finally had time to sit down and watch this. Actually thought the harmonica was Chimmy's like in his BT21 episode? 😅 my fave track is Face Off and Letter and Alone lol. I've always been partial to B-sides 😅 and I'm sorry to hear you guys going through a tough time. I sympathize and empathize fully and send my love and prayers to all of you. 💜💜💜

Hey Whatchagot2say, thank you Nico, Blaze, and AJJ for giving us your full attention for this album review. Thank you for your vulnerablity and honesty. No one ever has to show everything about them if they don't want to. I know that BTS has done a Map of the Soul and they explore showing vulnerable sides to us and how everyone has multiple identities that make them up but BTS still want to be as vulnerable as they can and i think that you guys also reflect that vibe of always being 100 with us and it shows heavily. that being said, no one needs to, and most of the time, it's impossible to share it all to the public. I hope neither you guys nor bts always feel obligated about sharing everything because thats okay if you don't because that's normal. Now, regarding Jimin's album, it's an 8.7-8.9 for me, so i guess it falls into 8.8 haha. But this was also my first time reviewing the lyrics too, so i got to do it with you guys. I know that Jimin focused on his feelings towards the times in pandemic, and although majority of the lyrics reflected that, i think it first hit for me during the interlude. i could be wrong, but i think that the rewinding music was actually rewinding face-off, the carnival music. And then all of those sounds, i think it reflected when we first learned about quarantine; from getting that knock on the door, to reminiscing good times like Jimin reminiscing about his time in concert and i know he missed it and kept wondering when we'd be able to see each other again, to heading home, closing the door, and starting off your quarantine with a drink. listening to the short album, it was well placed with all of the songs because i followed his thought process through the pandemic which i am sure many of us also felt the same; "why am i the only one like this - no, everyone is like this"

Thank you for your honesty Nico. I unfortunately feel and know exactly what you said about what this album means to you. For me it was my Dad exactly one year ago aswell. And eventhough it sounds tragic and awful, because i actually don't want anyone to know how it feels, but it gives me some kind of comfort hearing your words at the end. I appreciate you guys a lot. Jimins album FACE is unrateable for me, because it almost felt like he was albe to smoothe out some of the ridges on the rips and cracks left on my soul when I lost my Dad. I don't know if it is ever going to be mended but he was able to touch my soul, which I am enternally greatful for.

i KNOW that its easier said than done, but i know if you could see the people behind those kinds of comments you would be like, "this turd?! why in the hell am i letting YOU affect me?" thats the cruel side of anonymity and they all need to get a life. one of the best things about jimin is his vulnerability. vulnerability is a super power as far as im concerned, it can move mountains. the way it is touching you through this album is a perfect example. thank you for sharing yours with us. i purple you.

This is exact;y why I watch y'all because I know, regardless if you vibe with the album or not, the three of you are going to keep it real. You sent a powerful message there at the end, Nico. I appreciate that. As far as the album, I'm giving it a 9.5. I can relate a lot to what Jimin was/is going through and this may be my wake up call to get my shit together more as a human being. Each solo album so far as helped me see things, get through things and feel things in a completely different way. I'm forever grateful to experience and reflect on the album and how I can relate or how I can simply enjoy. I say this in the same way I listen to OT7 albums. They're all simply gifts to ARMY and sure, we all have a bias or two but who cares? They love us, we love them ALL. I love Yoongi but I am also totally O7 and I’m never going to attack anyone who focuses on any one member when the spotlight is on them. I mean why do that to people?? I was totally focusing on Hobi then Joon and now Jimin and JK (along with Tae and his show)… etc, etc…

what you said nico was really moving thank you for opening up to us and being real. i hope that you can find some healing through alone 💜💖 like crazy has really gripped me a lot. it’s such a great song to listen to and vibe to but reading his interviews and the lyrics it really has me emotional on what he was going through at that time. he mentioned that he was feeling this during vegas and i know they knew about the break and enlistment by that point. so it really felt painful to see him saying this is gonna break me etc and wanting to stay in the dream. the line that really gets me in alone is why am i like this - no, everyone is like this. something about the way he sings this with so much melancholy and how everyone being in that state can sometimes be heavy and scary instead of a comfort. i love that he added no everyone is like this it’s a fascinating detail. im honestly just really proud of him for this album. i know some of it was new for him and must have been really stressful. i’m really excited to see what a new bts album will be like after all the vocal line have had this turn creating music for themselves it’s going to be something amazing i know it!

Thank you so much for your candor in revealing your feelings and how the album has affected each one of you individually. I think all of uscan relate to Jimin’s feelings of self doubt and inadequacy. We’ve all been there? During the beginnings of the pandemic I was literally caged in my own home with no where to go or be. Being immunocompromised I couldn’t be around people and my daughter works in a hospital as a respiratory therapist. She was and still is a front line worker, so I couldn’t be around her or her family either. Depression is very real when you are isolated . I so resonate with Jimin’s song Alone. It’s anazingly powerful of him to put it all out there for our interpretation-on a platter. We can spin that platter and listen to his music and lyrics to understand his pain and recovery.FACE!

Your honesty is something I appreciated about you all from the first video I watched of yours years ago. I never doubted or questioned your authenticity as reactors, as ARMY, and especially as people. That is the reason I have been with the WhatcherFam since that first video. And the best part? I know you’ll never change. You are “Real Ones” in every sense of the word. Thank you for being YOU and for sharing yourselves with us. 💜💜💜 As for FACE? A 10 from me. It took a few listens and diving in for me too, but my final verdict is that is is a perfect album and story. Plus… hidden track makes #7?? COME ON!!

Thank you for your beautiful human message at the end. You always keep it real and show love to all members of BTS. Even if you didn't, it is normal to be drawn to different music during different parts of your life. It doesn't mean you don't like the other music, it just means in this moment this song or album is speaking to you the most. I loved Jimin's new album, but right now I am more drawn to the messages in J-Hopes "On the Street" and RM's "No.2." I am sure Jimin's album will speak to me in the future and I am so thankful his messages will be waiting for me. Keep up the phenomenal reviews. I hope you react to Jimin on Suchwita. I had the same reaction to the track list, but when it’s classified as an EP, I think that’s when I got cool with it. I myself did feel its completeness after the first listen. I kept saying “wow – that was a JOURNEY” and how it was really the perfect length in that regard. And of course, with each listen and reflection I got deeper and deeper and started going through my own reflections and dare I say, running away from things I don’t want to face. Since I SOOOO love your full album review, I took notes LOLOL…ok here goes At first the circus music made me think – this isn’t the Jimin from the “show” - this isn’t the stage. The mask/makeup/costume is going to come off. I also think that Face Off can be a single. I love it – it’s a frontrunner for me for sure, like AJJ. And even though they can pull the ol okie doke on us with lyrics vs. melody – this was a song I could FEEL the emotion. It was an incredible way to kick off the album and I relate to it quite a lot. For Interlude Dive also, so much of the musical genre they began in is visuals right? I mean we know the guys know how to wear those ‘fit’s, but with this song – its almost commanding you to LISTEN instead of look. Like you Nico, I find myself concentrating on the sounds to see if I can distinguish them. I think we all have picked up on the transition all the way from Jimin the idol to Jimin who comes home, turns on the AC, and pours himself a drink after a long day - yet now he's alone. He doesn’t want it to stop – so then we go into Like Crazy. And I agree Nico, it really can’t be skipped – its necessary when listening to the album fully. (Yo its crazy that your camera did that RIGHT when interlude started to play and got more abstract. It fit PERFECTLY really.) Then for Like Crazy, it goes to show once again that Korean can be so much lyrically beautiful than English. I do appreciate the English version bc you can enjoy it in the light poppy way as you said – but for the Korean version, its placement in the narrative and what the lyrics are describing are pivotal to the story. Alone is growing on me. It hard to listen to due to my deep and lingering issues with loneliness and how I don’t want to face them myself. I had to look away from the lyrics because I’m not ready and want to keep my own interpretation for a while longer. I mean it’s pretty much along the same lines but, just not ready to dive. That’s all I say so I thank you Nico for sharing your feeling and genuineness – it helps a great deal. During Set Me Free pt.2 you mentioned you need/want/have found Deliverance? That’s EXACTLY it you hit the nail on the head – its saying at the end ‘I’ve broken out of this spiral and I’m free. I’m good AND that I almost needed to go on that tough journey to be the me who’s here today.’ My first time checking out the words to Letter were with yall and my goodness. Ive heard Jimin say things like ‘I/we may say this a lot and it might sound fake, but I/we really love you’ so when he said ‘Im saying this so you won’t take it lightly’ that hit hard. Since chapter 2 has been so so personal – hes solidifying forever in music (which is eternal) what he means. He loves us, every single one of us. Jimin is pure love – and in every sense, the ups and the downs of love too now that he has shared this extremely vulnerable and beautifully crafted gift of music. I think of him OFTEN when I need encouragement. This may sound cringy but I think “What would Jimin say to me” and I know it would be the kindest most loving words. He celebrates others and is their biggest fan. Jimin is pure love. Thank you for your words at the end. I will say I started crying, but then laughing because yall silly. If Jimin only knew how strong yall are and how much he’s helped you become the best versions of yourself. He would be so so proud. With each member individually and BTS as a team – they tell tales and each song itself can be a short story in the journey. And like you said Blaze, artists don’t do that so much now a days. I even remember back then it was rare to say you could really listen to and album front to back, especially one with no skips. How many albums we’ve got now with no skips? *goes and counts shelf of albums* Thank you for reading this far, and any other FAM who did too) like I said I really really enjoy your full album reviews and why you have and will continue to have a important and valuable place in my heart.

Thank you for sharing some of your struggles with us. I am so glad that you guys are always authentic and always respectful. I so love what you all had to say, especially you Nico. Love to you all. It's not easy to open up but I so appreciate Jimin putting himself out there and inspiring so many of us to do the same. As much as a longer album would have been great, for him to tell the story he told I think it had to be exactly what it was. 8-10 songs dealing with those feelings would have been really tough and also would have taken a lot longer for him to put out. I truly resonate with Alone the most right now, but love the hope I get from SMFPt2. Like Crazy is on repeat too, heck the whole album. 10/10. No skip. So happy to be a part of such a great community!

This album exceeded all of my expectations and had some wonderful surprises. It showed so many sides of Jimin as a vocalist and artist. R&B, Synth Pop, a Hip Hop anthem, and a hidden love letter to ARMY? The man can do it all. Face-Off is my favorite track. Alone was a gut punch in the feels. Loved how he used his lower register for most of it. Really made me feel the emotion in the song even more. Like Crazy absolutely belongs on a TV or Movie soundtrack. And Set Me Free pt 2 is the perfect ending to the story arc. Love you and your reactions, FAM. Thanks for being a light in this world. L💜

So many thoughts going through my mind right now, but I’ll try to keep it short. First, the latest Suchwita with Jimin helped me understand better as to why the album is no longer than it is. It’s so great to see him and Suga together and laughing, yet as always in this great show, a few serious/wise moments are sprinkled in here and there💜 Second, it was so touching when Jimin so sweetly said on Jimmy Fallon that he hoped a lot of people could relate to his lyrics, which obviously it’s been relatable and therapeutic for you all, as well as for me, and I’m sure, countless others💜 Lastly, for now😉, life can be so hard, and losing a parent is excruciating, to say the least (my Mother passed two years ago), but it sure gives you empathy, not just sympathy, when you see someone else dealing with the pain. I feel that for you all, and I hope you can feel the love and healing I send you💜 Although we never lose that feeling of loss, here is a quote (author unknown) that helps me, and hopefully you guys, hold on (and I think it applies to the terribly difficult time Jimin was going through)💜 “The best feeling in the whole world is watching things finally fall into place after watching them fall apart for so long.” Baby steps…be gentle with yourself🙏🏼 L💜

I love this album. I think Jimin did a great job. When it was announced that there was only six tracks, I was also like that is not enough. Once you really get into the lyrics and feel the emotion behind the words, you can almost feel how emotionally draining Jimin must have been. So when I come to the end, I just listen to the album again and again. 10 out of 10. Love you guys. BTS and you guys are my outlet when the pressure gets to be too much. Jimin has mentioned in the past he spent many nights during the pandemic alone with a bottle and those were the times he would feel especially melancholy.
