{Early Release} Jimin 'Like Crazy' MV REACTION!!

Comments

I checked it out. It was a cool vid.

WhatchaGot2Say

I watched this reaction after I had already seen what Jimin said in an interview about the album -- that it expressed, chronologically, what he was feeling during the pandemic. And it made me think that Like Crazy represents how tempting it was, for many of us, to just check out, lose ourselves for a while, in having a good time, clubbing, whatever, to take our minds off the crushing reality of the pandemic as it gathered speed around us. That, and the temporality of everything -- 'if we live fast, let us die young' -- how lost and helpless young people felt as the deadly fact of Covid and its effects took hold. I look forward to watching your reaction to the whole album! (And I love watching you 3 anyhow!)

React BTS 'Jimin Like Crazy - Live Performance..🔥🕺

Susan Brooks

Watch the performance on The Tonight Show; it’s so good and shows the sexy Jimin many have been waiting for. There’s a dance practice, too, but I think the live performance is best.

Skeeter

Hi! I suggest you all should watch the explanition om the music video. (BOOKISH THEORIES) It so good.

Mariz_83

React 'Jimin - Like Crazy Dance Practice. 🔥🕺

Susan Brooks

Yeah guys they fooled us again. We didn’t get the baby maker song. I like it though. Jimin did a great job.

Ayana Howard

React 'BTS Jimin: Like Crazy Live Jimmy Fallon Show. 🔥🕺

Susan Brooks

I got the 80s style for this music. i really love this song and it really brings me back. I take it as when he is wearing white he felt stuck whether it is mentally or because of covid situation. Then in club seen was more his mind taking him away and having fun and that is why he doesn't want to be saved and he wants to stay in this dream. At the end he is back in reality but the mud on his hand is like that escape thought still lingers with him. I would love to see the interview and hear what he says about the songs he wrote.

Hazy

Ohh yeah... That's the movie inspired Jimin right ... Now I get it but it sounds so much like V so I got confused 😔

Meg💜💜

the actors are Shelby Young and Joe Brogie

jenna

the male voice wasn't taehyung. bighit reached out to a female voice actor for it and she picked the male counterpart! they were remaking the vibes from the movie that the MV was referencing

jenna

I'm 100% sure that the male voice in the beginning and at the end is our TAETAE.... After watching this song I froze for a minute and couldn't say anything... Jimin is gonna break all the records and I can already imagine this song being played in all the clubs...💜💜

Meg💜💜

Yes i agree their is something their

Btssuga_38

I think the parallel between him being lifted up by the crowd in this video and being lifted by the dancers in SMFp2 is a good connective move between the two videos

Akizato

I didn't like the song when I first heard it, partially because I wasn't expecting that sound, and also because it's not usually my kind of sound, but it's really grown on me now I've heard it a few times. It really stuck with me when I heard it in the context of the album, and as I read the lyrics. I'm interested to hear your take on the lyrics when you do the full album review!

Akizato

Loved it...on repeat and stuck in my head. The lyrics and even the video definitely show the struggling with depression. Jimin said it was about the pandemic and all that loss for him as an artist.

Ravislyn

I love this song very much, and I appreciate the early release on Patreon from you guys! I feel like this song has vibes of The Weekend type of song. It feels very intoxicating

Heather Holloway

While on the surface it’s very much a fun night at the club feeling, there is definitely something darker as well, with the falling lyric, and the lyric imploring not to wake him. And the culmination of this good night was him sitting alone on the bathroom floor. The imagery of the dark goo oozing from the doors into the hallway shot me back to similar imagery from Interlude: Shadow, and felt like the inescapable darkness he’s carrying revealing itself. I’m hoping to find interviews where maybe he discusses it more. I absolutely love the song and the mv

Melissa Lee

Very interesting indeed 🤔

WhatchaGot2Say

he’s done some good interviews that were released last night where he talks about the meaning. definitely a lot deeper than it seems on the surface. he was talking about struggling mentally during the time of the vegas shows and how the guys suggested he put that into music. i need to check out the film like crazy too!

Jenn

I've seen a bunch of people say, and I agree, that the girl is Jimin's reflection. That's why they never had any contact with each other. They were both looking around the club area and the moment they made eye contact it cuts to Jimin being in the mirror looking and talking about his reflection! It's very interesting to dissect.

Lizzie

He said it's based on (or from) the movie (his favorite) Like Crazy, which is an emotional roller coaster....regardless, the track is a bomb.... club/dance/party track, if you don't go too deep with it. I love it!

Kim Myers

Yes. Great point!

Kimberly Flierl

I agree. Do you think he never interacts with a female character in the song because of fans expecting them to be single/untouchable?

Peggy Stults

I find this song on a more mature level, if that makes sense?

Delilah Rivera

He drinking and trying to have a good time at the club he drinking and getting lost in the haze of alcohol he starts to get dark thoughts thats where the slug comes in and when we see the girl thats him when he said that his reflection in the mirror hes talking about himself thats why you dont see the girl anymore through the video over all i loved it it kinda reminded me of Yoongi's interlude shadow music video because hes talking about shadows and everything so thats what that reminds me of in away but its Jimin and his way of telling things and i also think that if we look at it as a story line like crazy would be the first video and then the second would be set me free part 2 like its somehow telling a story of jimin fighting all the negativity and dark thoughts and trying to over come it and he finally was able to at the end of set me part 2

Btssuga_38

Love the song but still trying to figure out the meaning of the video! Thanks for sharing the early reaction! Can’t wait for the others. 💜

LHfromNH

OMG THAT'S SO EXCITING THAT'SS AWESOME! CONGRATS TO WHATCHAGOT2SAY!!!

oneofthemillionarmy

The new name is Synthpop sound. I call it the 80's sound which was mostly synthesized music. That's the sound I danced to at the clubs. 😄

DinaArmyMom

Still processing this one! Not what I anticipated but I like it. Blaze, I thought you had some interesting insights into the meaning of the MV. Thanks for sharing! Love you guys!

ruth kapcia

This guy just keeps us on our toes !! I never know what more is gonna come out of his creative journey and I guess given the life that Jimin and the other members have, it must be insanely difficult for them to enjoy the little pleasures we take for granted... YAY!!! You are doing the Jimmy Fallon one 😄

AMA#draws

Here is my interpretation (for what it’s worth). Jimin is singing to alcohol. He wants it to make him feel good and forget about his dark thoughts. The muds/slime represents his dark thoughts who inevitably come through no matter how much he drinks. The scene with him and the girl searching in the club depicts that he’s lonely. They’re like ships passing in the night. This track has a very Weeknd vibe to it. On the surface it seems like a party dance track but it’s much much deeper than that. If you listen to the album on a loop it illustrates the viscous cycle that you go on with your mental health. It’s a masterpiece.

Kimberly Flierl

OMG I cannot wait to watch this - lol y'all crack me up so hard. OKAY! Let's Watch! :) - am having fun reading all the theories racing all over social media about all the symbolism and the lyrics, but still wondering about that mud! LOL. I love it though! Can't wait for all of y'all's thoughts on the entire album which is going nonstop on my spotify :) Some theories (okay a lot of the theories) are that the girl is a reflection of the feminine side of himself, and coming to terms with who he truly is, and being happy with who he is, a complex individual of many sides. I'm all for loving oneself :). Great reaction guys! As always.

Carolyn Rogers

Obsessed with this song!!!

Melissa Sims

This song really gave me some 80's vibe which i did not expect to be in Jimin's album, but it's cool. I also felt like this was a very interesting and different environment than what most of what we expect from BTS members. but although, it's different, it was cool to see him let loose; something i think we all hoped the bts members could do was to have a good time and enjoy good company. Also, Jimin said that this mv was inspired by one of his favorite movies and i'm looking them up now. this album was about his feelings during covid, so i'm looking up his favorite movies that he watched during covid. one of them, was Me Before You and he said it challenged his perspective on life a lot and there was a struggle in the movie about how to enjoy life even when you have limitations. So far, it sounds most like inspired by this movie but i haven't analyzed the symbols in the mv yet

oneofthemillionarmy

YAYYY loved this reaction, great words as always guys 😁

Katie Sammy

As always, I love any Jimin content. I also love your honest reaction and comments. AJJ, I'm confused about the girl and Jimin too. 🫨

Bishlover79

The album is amazing! Thanks for sharing!!! 💜🫶🏽🫰🏽

That interlude reminds me of this...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYH8DsU2WCk It's a 80's track by this group called New Order. The name of the song is Blue Monday.

Michelle Smith

I thought this morning I wish they had released this video earlier on patreon and now I got this notification 🥳one of my top 3 songs in the album Jimin did a great job💜

Aley

WatchaFAM!!!! You guys made the SK News. See, the attached link & Enjoy!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3pILMQEzX4&t=2s

Michelle Smith

Excuse me while I scream my head off again for the umpteenth time in 24 hours!!! Delete the K from the genre name because this song is POP period.

abs802
