The alternative is to have the sound transmit directly through the capture device but in that scenario we would have to wear headphones to hear it and that would take away from the real time interaction that we like to have with each other. I do want to purchase a speaker set that would provide improved surround sound for us and hopefully you guys when you listen with headphones.

It's sometimes the sound of the videos on which you're reacting where the sound is different from the original video outside of the reaction. For example: the "Not today + Idol Wembley performance" (one of my favorites 😋). The difference is more obvious when I watch with my Jabra headphones.
