Loved English and chemistry because the teachers were great. Awful biology teacher in high school but ended up majoring in it in college! Teachers are everything and as you point out, they need to be better paid!

As Iβve babysat, tutored, taught, itβs all helped with my overall self. Itβs amazingly weird how helping one child can then help you learn something for your own life or help you further yourself.

Thereβs no real monetary βgainβ in teaching because of the pay and what we end up buying to put into our class(es) with our own money. You have to have EXTREME patience to teach because every child, parent, environment, and situation is different. As a teacher you play a thousand roles at any given time depending on your target age group. Teachers and caregivers are the biggest untapped resource in the world IMO. If children are the future we should only give them the best we have to offer, and that includes helping the people that raise/teach them. If they are better our entire future is better, the two go hand in hand.
