IU x J-Hope in the Palette (REACTION)

I'm very late to this but this is a top tier interview. IU is such a big name in her own right and she put in so much effort to do the research and give Hobi a good quality piece of promotion. It's so worthwhile. It's nice to see him get complimented too, and be appreciated as an artist. Their performance together was beautiful... really good.

Oh man, when I first saw this episode of Palette with IU & J hope I was so moved. When they sang =Equal Sign, I cried like a baby because it was just beautiful. Then like Mika, I was crying listening to Safe Zone. IU was a wonderful host and they both really seemed so genuine together. I really enjoyed it. One bad thing that happened though, I had left a comment on the original youtube video, and someone actually told me not to praise IU too much because she was involved in some kind of plagarism. That really made me upset, because it reminded me of when people accused BTS of the same thing. I replied to the person, telling them that I leave those kinds of things up to the people involved and if Hybe and J Hope felt ok with IU, then I did too. Really enjoyed the reaction you two. Thanks.

I definitely relate to Mika at the end, I feel that exact way about Hobi, there's something about him, his existence and the way he expresses himself in every way that is so heartwarming. I love every bit of him to the point that I find myself overwhelmed with emotions often. It's even hard to believe that such a sweet, talented, humble, kind person exists. I know I don't know him personally, but he feels like a breath of fresh air, a tight hug and love itself packed into a human. I can imagine why the members rely so much on his presence, he conveys so much warmth even through just a screen, he's probably a safety zone himself to a lot of people in his life.

I feel like IU and jhope are kindred spirits. They’re two of the loveliest people in the business. IU is known for her kindness: she donates a lot of her money, she’s reduced her salary to make sure her staff are well paid, and she puts pictures of missing children up on her page. She’s just so lovely. And a great artist too (jhope is my bias and we all know we love jhope but I wanted give iu some love)

Wonderful interview and I loved your reaction. I know that Hobi's songs particularly on this album and particularly safety zone really hit me in the feels too. The fact that he feels so exposed and vulnerable and not sure how to feel safe and yet he continues to share that vulnerability with all of us is an amazing gift. It is the thing that continues to shock and awe me about the guys in BTS. Their willingness to be vulnerable. What I loved about this interview the most was when J-Hope basically squealed when she complimented him. Like he really was so pleased and delighted by her words. He was ADORABLE. If anybody ever thought that he was somehow faking it with his positive, humble spirit than this video can prove them wrong in an instant.

Iu is definitely one of my favorite singers and actors. She is so great at portraying emotion in everything she does like her lyrics and shows she is in, she’s a true artist. Her music is a wide range of genres too. I love her personality on her variety shows as well. I’m such a big fan haha she’s just truly so sincere and kind and inspiring!
